A new image of TFC Toys "Hercules Project", also known as Not Devastator's, first known figure, EXGRAVER has appeared in full color. The image gives us a test shot of the final color of the figure, its articulation points and abilities, and just how much it "doesn't look" like its G1 Counterpart.

You can get in on this planned gestalt by placing an order at site sponsor
Big Bad Toy Store, by clicking
here.

I've read this has been floating around for a week, may have gotten buried amidst Botcon news, but why the black prototypes at BC if they had a colored version?

That's just a rather cool pic.
I think I'll be displaying these guys individually until all six are out. If they're all out, that is.

Yea, this has been around at least since the order pages went up for this guy last week.
I wonder if they are trying to make it look like the pogo-stick mode of the Constructicon in RotF?
In any event, I'm all over these.

I think it looks pretty cool. So far I`m glad I preordered these. In total it`ll be a hefty buy, so hopefully they`ll be wise enough to space these out.

Looks nice, but seeing this makes me wonder now if it's really $80-100 nice.........
Second-thoughting the total cost of Devy.

As a stand alone figure, probably not. Once it's combined to form Devastator...much more likely.

BTW I'm not so sure anymore about the hands hiding in the individual bots' vehicle/robot modes... anyone can confirm this?

In not-Hook the head is clearly hidden on the top of the vehicle, it is visible here:

...but as far as Exgraver is concerned, I really can't figure out where the right hand could ever be stored

I agree. And that the hand was just lying next to the prototype at Botcon in the Robotkingdom display case seems to further support this.

Maybe it hides on the leg bots... or, the hands disassemble to scatter across all the bots.

that's the first time I've seen a color picture of Hook.
Do we have any more images of these in color? They seem like they are hard to find.
I'm going to guess the hand is a separate piece from the figure. If you look at the CAD drawing in the background of of the Exgraver figure, you can see the hand is a separate piece.

It looks really nice, but at the price they're asking...not a purchase I'm willing to make.
The combined total is close to $600.00 and that's just way too much for these, no matter how nice they are or what they do.
I'll stick with pre-existing Devastators and make 'em work.

There are a few threads of different stages of these floating about. That pic is from one (well, not originally, but you know what I mean). Unfortunately, TFC's site (where these all come from) requires a log-in and so they only spill out periodically.

If someone can compile all the pics together for me, I will put you on my awesome list.

Fullmetalhero.com already made a compilation of the existing pictures, you can find it here:
http://www.fullmetalhero.com/content/tfc-toys-hercules-image-round-up-894/...that's where the image I posted came from.
As for the hand problem, Exgraver's legs are WAY too skinny to hide the hand. Moreover, the hand parts are connected via two pins which aren't easily removable, so I don't think the scattered hand scenario is likely to happen.
If you look at the picture of Exgraver in alt mode, you can barely see the hand to lay behind the figure, so I think hands might be old school separate kibble... which would be a little odd, as they would be the ONLY separate part in the whole gestalt

The chest shield would also have to be a separate part.
I don't mind it if his hands are separate from his arms. Especially after the Munitioner add-ons.

I'm not sure Hercules is going to have a chestplate, I think it is inspired on the All Hail Megatron's Devastator, which lacked one.
I wouldn't mind the separate parts myself, though the way they integrated into FP Brutics altmodes or robotforms was classy!

It seems more inspired by that old Japanese art.
http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http ... =101&ty=69They have a few pics set up this way. Even if it was based on AHM, why not include a chest shield?
