I WANT to get excited about this, but I just can't. Not a hundred dollars excited. Not ignore TFClub's lousy QC excited. Not six times over excited.

This should be a huge moment for classic-style TF collectors and 3rd party enthusiasts alike, but all I'm feeling is a Spruce Goose, "will it even fly" response. Hopefully something will change.

Same here. It looks so good but :BOOM: that's expensive.

i personally think besides being expensive is that the QC on this has to be better. i dont want this if. parts start flying off, or arms are so loose that when you put the weapon on the Devastator it will sink right back down. Lets recap the previous toys that TFC made. the Battle Roller extremely loose that could be fix with nail polish, glue, etc. Gear of war 2 set sometimes the metal plate and battery doesn't touch so you need aluminum foil or another metal conduit to connect to make LED work off the guns. or Primus school Chibi Optimus. arms are loose can't even hold his antenna gun. Well these happen to me and i can't vouch for anyone else, but seriously if we are investing on this thing i don't want to look for ways to touch up or fix them. Anyway i have a few questions as well on this

1. How tall will it be completed?
2. What size is the Exgraver (Voyager, Deluxe)

I don't really mind little fixes if it's not too demanding because I often have to do that to my Hasbro stuff too. Shoot, I've taken a knife to Hasbro stuff to fix/improve their flaws way more often. Admittedly, that's because the price of 3rd party stuff demands I'm DAMN sure I want to do it and know this is the best way. Anyhoo, my point is I don't see minor QC as dealbreakers. Now if it's too fragile to qualify has a toy, then we have a problem. But I've only run into that once (WST Snarl)

And since you asked:
1. Not positive, they haven't revealed the legs yet, BUT
2. I recall guy is roughly Deluxe, so it should stand a lot bigger than Hasbro's combiners.

It just really sucks that it's not Hasbro doing this and that it takes a 3rd party to make this.

The red thing sticking out of his back is his second gun. He comes with 2 hand guns, one purple, one red. It is NOT the connection port to Devastator. This character has a female connector that attaches to "not hook's" male connector. "Not Hook's" male connector will be located in what will be "Hercules" ("Not Devatator's) Shoulder. Same goes for "Not Bonecrusher".

Awesome looking bot mode and awesome looking alt mode. And very awesome Deva hand mode. But not gonna get it cause it's frickin expensive >.>...And not really interested in Devastator...Nonetheless I think Hercules is the best 3rd party product we ever got.

I'm sorry but at 90-100 bucks a pop (imported), I HAVE to see the final completed Devastator before pulling the trigger on this. The single figures are looking better, but I'd hate for there to be QC problems in combined mode. That's going to be one big gestalt with a lot of weight to support.

Interestingly enough, when TFC first announced this figure, the combined form, aka "Hercules" (aka "Not Devistator") was noted of having a combined form that was 31 centimeters, or roughly 12 inches.

However, I have also heard that these were originally planned to be G1 size (roughly scout class), and since then, have been increased to Deluxe scale. If that is the case, then the combined "Hercules" ("Not Devistator") will be around 41 centimeters tall, or 16 inches.

This is unsubstantiated hearsay, so we will see by the end of the year if they do the one a month release.

A lot of fans feel that way. But these figures will be high in demand, and I have a bad feeling they will all be sold out way before the last figures are released. Which means Extortion Bay (eBay) will be your only chance at completing the set. Seeing how this scalper game works, they will go for a LOT more than 80 - 90 a set.

I'll take my chances. Retail, you're talking $600 dollars and for that money, it needs to be perfect. If this were Fansproject, it would be a done deal. But after my GOW2 gun stopped working due to bad solders, I have reservations about TFC.

I am not so impressed with the coloring. The green is overly bright and there is too much black. The coloring reminds more of Energon Devastator.

The color is terrible.

I know it's supposed to resemble G1 but the hue is painful to look at. It makes it look cheap. I think seeing this unsold me.

Deal breaker for me - where does the hand go in not/vehicle mode.

Most seem to think it they fold out into the treads and go under the vehicle. The thumb seems to become a weapon in robot mode.

Looks good but I am going to wait until I see a full group shot before buying. Still 487 left at BBTS.

I love the fact that this set won't be complete until like May of next year...

It looks much better than the first finished images we saw. My hopes got higher for him.

It looks like the hand is a separate piece after all. Fine by me, though. That's the way it is with most combiners.
