God I'm stupid, and there I was wondering where all the dinosaur kibble was on that bot-mode.

So TFC has spent this time making more crap that we could care less about and less time making the final 2 pieces of Devastator?

I like what they reveal, but they are steadily losing any hope I have for them.

All they show are fragments of stuff now.

I might actually start to care about their stuff if they would actually take the time to finish one project at a time.

I have a hunch we will be seeing the completed Hercules in the instruction manual of Exgraver.

Eeehhhhh.... not sure how I feel about this one. The Concept got me all excited, if they were for the PCC Dinobot then I might be more interested, but if they're just going to be a Dinobot inspired combiner then probably not.

Well it looks like i'm part of the very small group that likes this.

I took a chance buying my very first PCC which was grimstone and loved him, so to see another dino-combiner is =P~

I dont care if it is or isn't supposed to be the G1 crew im just glad theres new combiners that are not the usual and i don't see power wankers either personally i think this looks great i just hope its affordable

I think it has potential. From what I've read at various places around the web these are supposed to be about the same size as the Hercules figures and share the same style combining ports.

Now there's a great candidate for Human Alliance figure!

Another member of the third-party dino-combiner has showed up on ACToys. This time we get a look at a prototype version of the pterodactyl team member in both modes along with the previously seen t-rex and a member of the Star Cat Rescue Team combiner. Images have been mirrored below.

That's not bad, not bad at all. I'm going to have a tough time deciding to display these guys individually as my classic dinobots or together in the combined mode.

If that isn't meant to be Swoop then it's someone who looks exactly like him.

Wow. These are looking really good BUT I'm just taken aback a little by the rumor that they're Hercules size. While a giant dino combiner is an awesome notion, dropping $1200 for the pair of them doesn't sound awesome at ALL. Was hoping they were Power-Core size and compatible.

While there may be different teams or people working on these... I agree, it would be really nice to finish one project (or put up pics, pricing, etc.) before flaunting two or three more. That kinda makes the fandom lose hope.

Maybe I can put a Star-Hovercraft together with Exgraver and CrazyDevy Devastator and make a finished Autobot-Spike style combiner until they all finish putting out their parts and limbs. Eh? :-?

At least the pterodactyl looks like a real Dinobot. Won't with the planned colors, though.

This would be tempting if it weren't for Devestator, even with the right colors. Not down for two huge combiners at the same time.

yeah, I think I'm only considering these guys if they do the actual Dinobot colors. (and Protectobot colors) If that happens, they're going to be hard not to buy. Really hard.

I'm not gonna lie, the sort-of-Dinobots are tempting, but I will need to see more.

As far as I'm concerned, until TFC finishes Hercules, anything else they do is irrelevant. Unless reports come back that Exgraver is poor quality...then everything they do is irrelevant.

Same. It has a lot of potential :)

Well, the QUALITY could be crap (and I'm waiting to see the reports on that)... but the sculpts look to be really nice. Detailed and nicely proportioned... with decent transformations.

So yeah. If the reports come in that they're well made, my wallet is in serious trouble.

Btw, Star Cat should not be news any more than images of new Power Rangers. And this dino combiner is pushing it.

I'm not familiar with Star Cat (aside from these prototype images) is it a separate series that these guys are just making something for?

I think the dino combiner is news until it's shown to definitely not be in G1 colors. Swoop, at least, looks TF inspired.

The other, not so much.

I agree the Star Cat stuff isn't news, which is why they aren't mentioned in the headline. The Swoop figure is posed with one of the Star Cat toys though, so I figure it's just easier to acknowledge them than have people asking what that figure behind Swoop is.
