Hmm.. no video link.. why is that...

well.. Simply put, RAGE!

I was in so much anticipation for this KOtoy...

Came the same day as my TFCC G2 Ramjet showed up...
(Ramjets face mold is whack, but the overall toy is nice) :APPLAUSE:

but back to blacky (or african americany)...

PAINT on translucent plastic = Fatality.
His joints are tight... so much so that his right arm broke at the elbow.
And the other elbow is visibly cracking... :sad:

Now I have a beautiful GIMP KO Black Starscream... Nerd Rage... :BOOM:

So yeah... joints are too tight fer the plastic on the elbows....
Comes in Jet mode, so no real issues, except for getting the hands out....

That's kind of what you risk when buying from a site called "KOToys".

Best to contact them and see if he can help.

Well to be fair...

Air Warrior, Sunstorm, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Blue Konvoy and Deep Cover are totally fine.. ...in comparison.

But Black Starscream is FUBAR*~! :BANG_HEAD:

*Contemplating getting another one.... :-?

Some of my CMS Seekers had elbows that were too tight. But I didn't force them. It's a good idea to never force a joint to move if it's too tight on these KOs.

Well I'll be a monkeys uncle...

I used...Multi-Hold Sureflex adhesive.. On a car side-view Mirror..
It's still on, through rain, car wash , --whatever.

I used 2 tiny dabs, applied with a Toothpick head on to the flat, break points in the
elbow.

---Dang toy is better then before!--- His arm stays on, and is less tight, therefore moves. I still think it's kinda Rubbish that the elbows are so weak too start.
And even though I feel kinda RAWR-ish about breaking mine... It's fixed / Better..
****I been trying to break the other arm for 30min before I typed this up. If I go all in I might break it, but need clean break for a chance at a salvage.

..Emo-scream just used right arm too much. Didn't give himself enough "Strangers".

When I got my Skywarp and Sunstorm from them they had the same stiff joints as well.Not to point of breakage but they were a tad tight. I left them in my window during a hot day and it loosened them up quite nice..

I had a bit more trouble with the chest folding down than the arms or hands.. heck if anything the hands were a bit loose. Just some gentle moving from time to time seemed to be the best remedy..

I don't support Mike as a person..never met him,never will. From a busniess standpoint I've had great dealings with him and Ko toys. I do however find it a bit hard to believe that the same person who has gone out of his way to make sure I was satisfied would speak or act like this to another customer. Do I think posting a link to a private(?) convo is cool or right? Not really but thats not the point.

I respect the fact that not everyone has had the same luck as I have with them and I also respect your opinion on the matter.

I'll leave it at that

Mike and Kate went above the call of duty to get me the stuff I ordered from their site.

However, the communication is still not very good. In the end, however, I got what I wanted for what i paid for it.

As for those comments ... not defending them. I don't have to agree with everything a person says or does to buy TFs from them.

Although this really gets away from talking about Black Starscream. Not every discussion needs to be about KOToys' customer service.
