GIANT WFC Optimus Prime!!
Posted: Thu Jul 21, 2011 6:11 pmThats right guys a GIANT WFC OP. I was on kotoys.com website and saw it a couple weeks back. I thought "HOLY CRAP HE IS HUGE!" Now i previously had a bad experience with kotoys before so i thought this would be a good chance to try and renew my customer satisfaction with them. So i ordered and got my item pretty quick. less than 2 weeks. The package was a little mangled but i didnt care as it was the toy i was after. Ok so the review starts here. On the website it said that since it IS a KO it is a little loose. Boy they werent kidding. I opened the package and parts literally started falling off everywhere. He wont stand without support, the metal bars thar hold pieces of him together arent a tight enough fit to stay in place so they just fall out which causes multiple pieces to scatter. His molding is pretty bad on some spots to.
Ok thats pretty much all of the bad.
The good parts are as follows. He stands roughly 14 inches tall. In vehicle mode he is larger that the new DOTM leader class ironhide. He would make for a SERIOUSLY KILLER custom toy. (looking forward to seeing one done by frenzy rumble) He has a paint scheme similair to Optimus from the movie line. blue flames on gold/red paint. Overall i will give this toy a 4 out of 10. Im not completely satisfied with it but it will have to do. I will include pictures as soon as my wife returns my camera tonight. Then i will progress to FIX photos of bad spots that need addressed on the toy that i will personally fix. I will also customized this figure and put prgression photos of that as well. Keep an eye on this thread.
