Mastermind Creations has revealed their latest Knight Morpher repaint, KM-01X Commander. The figure comes in familiar Shattered Glass universe colors, and will be a Victoria's Ultimate Hobby and Toy Fair and Cherry Bomb Toys exclusive limited to 500 pieces, of which 200 are special editions that come with a Renderform axe.

Cool, Cherry Bomb has their own exclusive! They're an awesome little shop. I wish I was going to the toy fair, not to buy this but just because it would be really awesome. Closest thing to a TF convention we have around here, I believe.

I'm a big fan of this mold, but to this repaint I must ask...why?

I've been able to avoid this mold so far. I think I'm going to pass on this guy too.

You can't avoid this mold because it is awesome. You NEED to get the KMC rerelease that's coming up. It has all the fixes of Annihilator in the original prime colors.

I may pick that up then if it's back in the original Prime colors. I'm just not a real big HoS fan.

I was wondering why MMC put that limited to 500 picture on their blog, I thought they made a mistake because it looks like the original Knight Morpher vs. Annihilator.

Now, do I really want a SG version of this...?

Love the mold, but hate these colors. Especially the translucent trailer. Also, does he not come with the axe he's depicted with?

Why dont they just put an Astrotrain head on him ???

Oh yeah... "parallel dimension" and "alternate universe" storylines are an easy way to sucker people into buying repaints.

I am soooohooohoooo buying the crap outta that.

I already have 2 of that mold, which I really like, but I'm not that into the purple Primes, and not for $150.

Dammit, I woulda been all over this if I hadn't just paid in full for the iGear Ironhide /Ratchet set, other 2 FP non-Insecticons and MP-10 at RK, the Night-Ops Perfect Effect exclusive (after buying the regular set thinking i wouldn't get my preferred NightOps set - original set on eBay now, PM me if interested) and didn't have 2 iGear seekers waiting to be in stock (and paid for) at TF Source, and have to pay the import taxes whenever they get here...

I started collecting around the second wave of Classics, and LOVE SG Prime - I had to get the KO voyager and the SG Faith Leader...

Oh well, unless there are a few left at the end of the month, I'll have say "win some, lose some", (although I'm kicking myself constantly for blind-buying Human Alliance waves 1 and 2 from BBTS since they arrived)
