Not really into the Technobots. Season 3 is where Transformers changed timeslots, so I wasn't brainwashed enough to want them as an adult like I want Devestator.

Awesome, I've been hoping that someone would make a third party/updated Computron

!
Anybody know which third party toy maker is doing this set?

I don't actually think this is an actual design; more of a CGI render rather than actual plans.
If it happens (I think it's still a big if) it will probably look a great deal different than the CGI, which looks like someone CGI'd over the original animation models.

Is it supposed to look so cheap and Gobotastic?

Maybe you misread the ledger.
COMPUTRON
he's made of the TECHNOBOTS
He's VERY Gobotastic!

Technobots...too bad they don't live up to their name. These look to be using the most mediocre of yesteryear's engineering. Whatev...sounds like this isn't really much of anything at this point anyhow. More so fan art than anything, that may or may not develop into a project down the road. At which point they hopefully would make them look more quality and interesting.

Interesting, but I'm more than happy to wait a few months before we start seeing prototypes. Hercules is taking my money.
Mind you, I am hoping Computron is the same scale as the neo Superion and Bruticus sets, not larger.

Easy guys. This is far from a confirmed upcoming release. Going from the origin thread it seems that it was a compare/contrast to Hercules vs Giant and someone threw these into the middle of the argument with no backing whatsoever.

I do hope this one does become reality. The Autobot combiners need some love too!

I really got worked up reading the title. I took a moment to glance at the renders. Relief $ets in.

Yes!
There are other Autobot combiners other than Superion. I can think of 4 at least that I hope will see completion at some point.
Not to mention all the Decepticon ones.

I truly hate being teased and faked out. This would've been a buy for me.

Misleading thread is misleading.
And has made me sad.
AUTOBOT SAD! AUTOBOT SMASH!

Well, I hope this does become a reality. I'd love to see the Technobots and the Terrorcons (their Decepticon counterparts who form Abominus) re-created with better articulation, better appearance/engineering and much larger scale (around the same size as TFC's Hercules would be fine by me

).
TFC could make a mint if they started revamping all the G1 combiner teams in larger scale/better quality the way they are doing with the Constructicons and I for one would be all over it (even if it hurts my wallet by $500-$600 for each team).

If they make toys out of the CGI designs,i'd buy it.
I'm all about scale,so scattershot has to be a deluxe toy. while the other 4 technobots limb bots are basics. the toys will get bonus points if their compatiable with the ports/slots/sizes of 3 energon 5-in-1 combiners toys.
