We have some new images of iGear's upcoming W-01 Weapons upgrade set of Generations Kup and RtS Perceptor courtesy of the facebook pages of iGear and the Transformers Galaxy Hong Kong Fans Group. The new guns will come in their own weapons trunk for storage. Images mirrored below, special guest appearances by iGear's Mini Warrior Spray and Transformers Prime Deluxe Bumblebee.

Most underwhelming weapons case I've ever seen.

can't wait to have one. my RTS Bumblebee NEEDS a gun.

Isn't the case a little oversized for five guns?

Are the guns based on a specific design? Why is it only for Kup and Perceptor? Kup already has a weapon.

Yep!

What the hell are we meant to do with it? It's too big for any one figure to carry alone. What's the purpose of that fold-out handle? To turn it into a giant riot shield that'll make every figure front heavy? It doesn't even look like the rifle can be fixed inside the trunk: it just seems to sit there.

It's too big, too hollow and too pointless. This best not be contributing to the cost of the set.

I personally think its cool to have a little storage bin for the extra weapons, eliminates the chance of the house just magically sucking them up when moving them from shelf to shelf or cleaning.

I think the case is so big because the rifle probably doesn't come apart.

Honestly, I wish a little more straight forward storage was offered. iGear's Weapons and Medical Specialists are both going to have a slew of stuff I'd be surprised they can store.

As for the fandom complaining, I really don't think they can help it. Unless there is an immediate counterpart, complaining IS their expression of excitement. I wouldn't be surprised if some of it is really directed at themselves (before they buy it anyway).

Must agree, It won't be that bad having some dozens of theseempty boxes in order to make an arsenal and really really in order to keep'em 2gether when moving. I'd also need these box in XXXXXXL to move the actual figures safely.

The case is the only part of the set I really give a crap about. I think this will come down to cost. The guns are pointless to me.

Maybe Rodimus could fit inside it and survive a crash landing like he did in Magnus's weapons locker?

It'll be a good place to keep my extra Renderform weapons that aren't in use at the moment.

If it adds to the cost, I might have a problem. I was grabbing this because I love weapons for my Transformers and I dying for a nice simple batch of guns. I don't hate the case but if it's just an excuse to jack up the price than I might reconsider.

Like the idea of the weapons locker. It can be used in a display. I'm grabbing this. Weapons are cool. Too many characters around he can use them.

Yes, causing Transformers fans to be concerned about very silly things.

I think the weapons case is a brilliant idea. I have a **** load of loose weapons ranging from my cassettebot bits and pieces to ultra mags fists and lots of combiner stuff. I have **** stored in unsightly zip lock bags and little tins and the such.

This is a smart idea if you ask me. I need two or three of those things for crying out loud.

Plus it's got a handle. So some of the bigger figures can carry it. Pretty sweet. You KNOW Onslaught would look cool carrying a couple of these.

OK, now I know I need the set. This is awesome, I hope iGear makes more stuff like this.

Me too, I really like the locker. That will be the perfect place to store random weapons that aren't in use.

Why are people not liking the case? I think it's awesome! I might get it just so I can put some small dude inside , and like, if you choose to not peg in the guns that are included you can probably fit a lot of other guns inside there, y'know, for storage.

Here is my "case" for weapon storage. I appreciate I-Gear trying to help (at a cost) but Id rather get the guns alone in a little bag for a cheaper price.
