Toyworld.jp has posted images of what appears to be a previously unknown third-party G1 style Megatron. The figure is pictured with a translucent sword, mace, and a third unknown accessory (possibly a folding stock?). Like the G1 toy this figure transforms into a handgun, though it's hard to get a sense of scale with no other objects in the any of the images. The images have been mirrored below.

I am not entirely sure, but it looks like the trigger moves, and is part of the arm, with the... thing that covers the trigger (I don't know guns that well ok) going over it. I would estimate that its from either scout or deluxe sized. The flail shouldnt be on something like a legends size, plus the pieces connecting at such a minunscule scale couldn't be a good thing. I could see the frame itself work for a voyager size, but if anything bigger then a deluxe, I would guess a small voyager size, like classics prime.

Bought, that thing looks awesome.

Robot mode looks great but I don't know about the alt mode. Particularly the handle. It's way too boxy, doesn't look like it'd be comfortable to hold if this were really a gun. They really need to revise that.

I've had a Henkei Megs for as long as I've had my neo-Classics collection and if this gets made and is of decent price, size and exceptional quality then I may just replace him for this one.

Time will tell for sure.

Personally, I'd say that United Voyager Megs tops Henkei Megs in terms of show-accuracy since his color scheme is more subtle and less psychedelic without as much red splotted on his body. After all, the Generation 1 character models specialized in subtle color schemes.

But, yeah, this Megatron may put both to shame.

alt mode isnt that great mainly cause the handle doesnt look right but that robot mode is awesome. would like to see the back though, wondering how the trigger guard & trigger are implemented. It looks like its on the side or the arm of the figure but its to hard to tell from these pictures. Hopefully the price isnt ridiculous like all the other 3rd party stuff cause id really like to have one.

The bot looks great until you get to the shins - and they also make the gun handle just wrong too. Needs work, but still a hell of a lot more convincing than MP05 or the bat-wing classic.

Almost sold - for what I'm sure will be an eye-watering price when it finally appears in 2023.

Good luck selling it w/out the organde tip in the barrel. I bet that won't pass US customs.

it looks weird in both modes. it looks like they struggled to get thick legs & the gun handle took the bulk of this ordeal.

I also don't like the robot arms. the forearms look way too overly big & blocky. the upper arms on top of the shoulder their needed to back of the gun upper pieces. as it stands the upper arm shoulder have huge hollow gaps in them that look beyond awful & noticeable miles away.

the thing looks un-finshed & a extremly early proto type. the arm canon/scope attachment piece looks un-finished & held on by rubber silicone glue.

i don't like that the sword looks like it's attached to a lolly pop handle.

i need to see this in color. i need to see size comparisions pics. i need to see final proto type pics.

i can't see myself liking this nor buying this. if it stays the same & does get major re-working done on the early proto type.

this thing looks small like deluxe size or barely voyager size. i might buy this if it's 8 inch robot $27 usa ultra sized or dare i dream 9 inch leader sized in robot mode.

dont care about the stupid gun mode or the horrible sword. the bot mode is sick and this will be mine.

For third party prices I don't think this looks good enough in robot mode. For Hasbro prices I certainly would but it's far from perfect.
