iGear has updated their
Facebook Page with a new image sporting the next figure in the Mini Warriors line created by the third party vendor.

MW-04 UFO, a very close resemblance to Universe 2.0 Legends Cosmos, is slated to be tagged as the fourth figure in the Mini Warrior line, with recent releases of
MW-01 Spray and MW-02 Rager recently reported here on Seibertron.com. No other information, other than the picture has been furnished on the figure. Another question posed is: What will MW-03 be?
Thanks for choosing Seibertron.com, your Ultimate Transformers Resource.

I like it and will buy, but once again it sucks that they insisted on making this line so small. The original 1984 concept of "mini-bots" was to get cheap parents to spend a few bucks in a toy store. The mini scale size should be banished from the collector world and left for the kiddies.

Now i can get behind this release! Gotta see some better picks but Cosmos is my favorite of the mini con figures. He never gets much love in any continuity in as far as i cant tell.
It looks a little too much like Hasbro's Classics release in bot mode to me but like i said. Some more pics will be needed. I'll more than likely buy em though.

I would agree with you accept for the Mini Bots. As a kid, I loved how small they were as toys and still had a big role in the show. I like bigger versions (Warpath and Windcharger for ex.) but these accurate, updated little guys are, IMO, spot on. BTW, look forward to finally meeting you at Botcon this year.

As for who -03 may be, I rather hope for Gears, as he is the only 1984 Autobot yet to get a Classics style (official or third party) release. We'll see, I suppose.

Oh we definatally gotta meet up and maybe have a couple beers. Im going with one of my friends from Miami who you met in 2010. As far as the mini-bots, wouldnt you agree they were all about scout size in the G1 cartoon ? They came up to Prime's chest level, not his knees as the toys portray. But they made great little pocket toys as a kid. I still got my first 2 mini-bots, Powerglide and Yellow Cliffjumper.

Upon closer inspection of the new Cosmos picture, I noticed the dumb astronaunt helmet. He is a robot that does not need oxygen. i hope it can be removed.

I like him overall. And I agree that a robot does not need an oxygen mask. But look at the alt mode, I think the bubble helmet works in that instance.
I'm still wondering where he stores the gun when in alt mode...

Yeah the space helmet works in UFO mode but only because they made the neck hole so large obviously to fit the helmet. I would have rather had a smaller neck hole with no helmet. Its kind of like Hasbro Seaspray with his diving mask and flippers, pointless.
As far the weapon storage, I dont think any of this series will have weapon storage.

But it's canon!

And the gun probably stows away underneath.
I am so getting this guy!

I actually kind of like the helmet, and thought of that same comic.

...is the similarity to Universe Cosmos that he looks like Cosmos?
Differences include:
Actual Hands,
Actual feet,
Elbows,
Dope looking cosmonaut helmet,
Weapon,
A much nicer silhouette(in my opinion)
Debate me!

He looks great, better then the classics one who is almost uncatchable online.
I agree on that they are little, but the 3 look very good so far. I really hope they make an Optimus Prime who would be scout-sized to match the scale. Now that would be great.
Legends Optimus was a great figure in both modes (best g1 cartoon Prime representation in my opinion if it wasn't for MP10)
You can make it 3rd company persons, you have the technology!

Due to their diminutive size I can't put these figures in my Classics collection, but that's not going to stop me getting them anyway. iGear, make them all and I'll buy them all (including Bumblebee and Cliffjumper).
The transparent helmet looks good in alt-mode, but I've gotta agree that it looks kind of daft in robot mode. Good looking figure none-the-less. Kind of looks like a halfway point between Universe Legends Cosmos and the deluxe Classics Cosmos concept art.
As for MW-03: part of me hopes that it's Pipes (get the inevitable repaint out of the way), but another part of me thinks it'd be cool if they saved all the repaints for a boxset at the end of the line.

I think the space helmet is rad. It has an old school sc-fi vibe about it.
His feet on the other hand seem a tad small under those massive lower legs for my liking but whatever.......he's still awesome and i'm a cosmos fan so i'm sold.

I disagree. First of all, as a kid, the mini-bots were great because you could stick a few in your pockets and carry them around with you. They were also easy to transform, which made them fun to play with.
They still have the same appeal today. While I no longer carry toys around in my pockets, I love having small transformers sitting on my desk at the office or on the coffee table at home, to pick up and fiddle with at any time. It's fun and satisfying to be able to quickly transform them back and forth.
And the lower price point is appealing to someone like me who has to also worry about things like mortgage payments, utility bills, house repairs, an upcoming wedding, etc.

Robots also don't need faces, fingers, or handheld weapons. There's no reason they have to look like humans, with two arms and two legs. And they CERTAINLY don't need noses.

Oh Yessss! I love the detailed ship mode and fully formed bot mode.
I know the minibot scale isn't popular, but I can dig it when they're fully articulated like this. It sort of pulls the whole scale thing together for me. I never really swallowed the whole "disguise" angle (faction symbols in plain view, people), but on Cybertron it was always treated as a functional angle and that makes more sense. That means Cyberton has tiny little bots who didn't opt to compliment bigger bots, they chose to turn into what suits them. Yeah, you have cars a deluxe could use as skates, get over it.
But even if you don't jive with that vision, Cosmos still works. C'mon, he said nuts to blending in before it was cool. And I don't think they ever explain why he even has that form.
