Ordering from Igear

Has anyone here in the UK ordered direct from Igear before? i ask because theres afew things im after from them but wanted to know what there like as i have never purchased from them before

Do they mark items as GIFT and do you get your items alright? IE the morons at the post office dont charge you to be given your item?

also i was thinking of buying Igear MP Shattered glass prime but cannot find anything on him on either youtube or any other video sites. I wanted to know if they used the 2nd release mould for this figure as i know the first has some QC issues with it while the 2nd release sorted all those issues out

Sorry I'm not UK, but I did want to point out that the larger, MP style figures come in unique shipping boxes fit specifically for them (I was thrilled getting the Ultra Magnus figure, because it had a really cool picture of alt mode on the outside of the box). Pre-printed on these boxes, there is a section for Customs Declaration, and they mark the figures off as Gift.

If I remember correctly, the smaller figures like Bee came in little mailing envelopes where they marked the items as Gift as well.

Hope this helps you out.

Wouldn't mind knowing this myself. I'd ordered the Kup heads from Kapow toys, but they don't seem to have any iGear stuff. That might be because of the free shipping, and the exchange rate, making it not really viable for them to act as a middleman when people can order direct. The free shipping is worldwide as well yes?

just order from igear, they seem real nice and ive been talking to them for afew days now and found out some things about the mpoo1 i never knew before (the x2 ion blasters - 1 is for mp prime and the other is for classics) plus free shipping so you cant complain

andy is ok but hes seriously over charging on some stuff which you can get much cheaper if you just go to the source direct

ANNOYINGLY they no longer have mp nemesis prime which i seriously wanted....sigh....

I am in the UK and while I haven't had an order from them yet I have pre-ordered their Rager and Spray ($15 each and free shipping....what's not to like there...) so we'll be in it together waiting to see what their service is like and whether or not even at that tiny value HMC tries to rape us for import tax. Recently every package I've had from BBTS has attracted a hefty and painful Customs charge. I'm hoping this one wont.

And yeah Kapow are great for getting stuff but they are expensive and a bit slow.

I don't quite understand this reply. you created a thread asking questions about igear, then you reply to your own thread giving advice to yourself. I'm puzzled >:oP #-o

it's because you're a minibot, if you were at least leader sized he'd listen to you.

mine says china??

also i appear to have a slight glitch with my mp optimus (shattered glass version) when i transform him in robot mode the top half doesnt click into place 100% and niether does the waist part (were the grill is) so essentially its never 100% clicked together which means the cab windows open alot unless i seriously force them together

i asked igear about it but got no responce....

I believe that is an issue with the mold and not a one-off defect. My UM has the same issue.

shipping, ah shipping. it's bloody amazing how it can cost so much, to transport so little. and yet it does.

My Rager and Spray direct from iGear turned up today. They sent it in a mailer box designed for both so I guess they were expecting to sell a lot of pairs. Also sent it with the words "craft gift" on the customs label and that coupled with everything else being printed in Chinese seems to have sneaked it past the bastards in Customs.

Both are great little toys, I'd actually rate them at higher quality than Hasbro's current Legends/legion output. Rager IS Huffer and the toy I would have wanted him to be in 1985 when I got him first time around, and I will definitely be ordering any more Minis if they get round to them.

Cheaper than any dealer anywhere, just as fast and free shipping - can't fault any of that. More please guys, your past sins are all forgotten.

Despite listing the restock of Rager and Spray as being for May iGear has just sent me an email saying my order for them has been dispatched today - go figure. If that's the case and anyone needs them I suggest heading over there.
