The Energon Pub

The Autobots were feeling confident. They had captured a third of the infamous Constructicons. With Mixmaster and Bonecrusher in custody they had robbed the remaining four of their ability to combine into their ultimate weapon, the city crushing monster known as Devastator. Unfortunately for the Autobots the Constructicon mastermind Hook already had a contingency plan in place for just such a scenario. He made sure that each Constructicon downloaded schematics that would allow them to convert ordinary Earth construction vehicles into makeshift combiner components. After all, it would be foolish to rely so heavily on a weapon that could only be deployed if all six team member were present and in working order. When the Autobots detected the energy signatures of Hook, Longhaul, Scavenger, and Scrapper at a remote construction site they assumed they were hiding, but in reality they were gathering parts.......................


Okay, I apologize for the fanfic explaining why I have two of all of these guys. Anyway, I was impressed enough with Exgraver to want two sets, combined and individual. As an added bonus I can now form a "complete" Hercules using two Exgravers and two Structors.

Thank for doing size comaprisons and showing the actualy height, will help when im getting the shelf for this beast. Just scored heavy labor and picking up Structor and dr crank on friday.. This set is really starting to take form and im super psyched!!!!

herc is a BEAST! hands down my favorite combiner. and TFC has out done themselves with this set. i thought bruticus was massive already.....herc just towers over him! imagin what herc would look like with fansproject superion lol

Thanks for the Pics - much appreciated.

Now I've seen it in it's "full" form I'm even more torn about waiting for the Maketoy version. The scale on Herc is all wrong for my other combiners, but it actually looks like he will get completed and in relatively short order whereas we are in mid-december and Maketoy is nowhere with theirs. Are the pre-orders even up yet?

I can feel my resolve crumbling as if I was a Minibot and Herc was walking towards me....I just know I'm going to surrender and get crushed....financially.

I can not wait to complete this guy. I shall keep TFC Devastator in combined form & MT Constructicons in individual robot forms. Screw scale, i'm a TF collector after all.

And now... the Autobot combiners need some love, looks like. I know there's not many compared to the 'Cons, but the Technobots and Protectobots need some love.

And holy cow this thing's gonna be huge!

I'm hoping for some Technobots. I don't think they'll ever get love again from Hasbro.

Same, here. I'd prefer those over the Protectobots.

The pictures are awesome buddy. You answered all my questions about size. The picture with him next to Bruticus definitely reassures me I want to get the MT version as well.

huh? ppl pick which transformers to buy because of scale? i picked herc because i think the individual figures look better as well as the combined figure. Maketoys giant looks like his head is buried deep in his bulky shoulders. plus i dont like how giant has big shoulders but small forearms and hands that arent articulate(compared to herc). hercs size is actually a plus for me.....he will fit in perfect with energon omega supreme. and i think he just looks way more bad a$$

scale was one of the reason i chose Herc instead of Giant. I need a large combiner for my Classics Line-up

Can we all try our best to not turn this thread into another "this Devy is better than that one."

Let's just keep letting El Duque shower us with pictures.
