What 3rd party "LEADER SIZED" Transformers toys do you want to see get created?
Please don't list any that are already getting made & being released soon.
Here's my short list:
(1)1985 G-1 styled Shockwave. that looks as much like the animation/toy as possible in both modes. yes I want the space laser gun alt mode.
(2) Starsabre from the 1989 TF victory cartoon series/toy line.
I think the toy deserves a leader sized toy by himself. a deluxe or voyager red jet/bot that combines with his white jet boosters in both modes to produce a leader sized toy in both modes. I think it's possible to also do the brainmaster gimmick. accessories would include the sword & it's red attachment piece.
(3)Diatulas from Transformers zone.
(4) Deathsauras from transformers victory 1989 cartoon/toy line. get rid of the deep chest beast gimmick. i'd prefer minicon ports. acessories the 2 beast & the large riffle gun with the ball & chain attached to it.
(5) Masterforce Overlord. 2 voyager sized vechicles that merge to form a leader sized robot mode. get rid of the 2 powermaster gimmicks to save money. accessories the huge riffle gun & sword. get rid of the city mode & all it's accessories to save money.
(6) 1985 Blitzwing leader sized. accessories the sword & gun.
(7) Rodimus Prime leader sized. that transforms from tractor trailer into a one piece robot mode. similar in vein to the titanium 6 inch rodimus prime toy but leader sized. accessories the large riffle gun & matrix of leadership.
(8) 1988 Quickswitch leader sized
(9) 1991 Return of convoy Battle stars Super megatron leader sized.
(10) 1991 return of convoy/battle stars Ultra Megatron leader sized.
(11)animated season 4 cancelled proto type of leader sized Maruader Megatron that was a tripple changer.
(12)ROTF Cancelled CGI designs of Tidalwave, leader sized toy.
(13) 1986 season 3/1986 movie Cyclonus. that looks exactly like the 1986 version as much as possible, leader sized. no targetmater. just the two guns. another 3rd party company can have fun making the add-on targetmaster.

If I had a genie I'd want Shocky to be Ultra sized. To properly challenge Voyager sized Megs. He was always bigger than megs, but he wasn't gigantic. Leader class would but him on par with FP Bruticus.
Star Saber and Deathsaurus are nice choices. I'd add a trailer for Classics Voyager Prime that turns him into Powermaster Prime with Apex Armor as well, which might bump him up to Leader class.
But I can't help but think that a leader sized 3rd party product would be horribly expencive. I already spend way too much on these unofficial TFs. And as lot of the choices on a shortlist of TFs anyone would want leader-classed are the kind of things Hasbro would do or characetrs that have been done already. Not really up for ANOTHER Prime or Megatron figure, really.

Classics Scorponok & Fort Max. No base modes, w/Headmaster gimmick. In fact I'd be happy just with voyager/Ultra sized toys.
Masterforce Overlord would be great.

Only the largest - Trypticon, Metroplex, Fort Max, Omega Supreme.
Overlord, Victory Saber (Star Saber and Victory Leo should be Voyager - sized, then combine IMO) would be cool too.

Noooooooooooooooo! They must be
BIGGER!Seriously though, I'm with MKall on this one. Only the largest of the large guys would really warrant the price these things would be.

Shockwave and Blitzwing I could get behind. And out of left field: Rhinox - just so he could be the hulk his animation model always portrayed him as.

I think the City-formers would be best done as supreme sized TF toys in the main Hasbro/takara liscensed toy lines.
IMHO,Masterforce 1988 Overlord should be a 3rd party LEADER SIZED TOY. because he was a decepticon faction leader & then got reduced in rank when black zarak showed up in the cartoon. the original 1988 Overlord toy was huge & easily 18 inches tall in robot mode.
PERSONALLY any 3rd party overlord toy must be leader sized so he's a similar size scale with other AEC,animated movie verse leader sized & Masterpiece toys like starscream, grimlock, rodimus & mp-10 convoy. I'm all about size scale.
I wouldn't mind TF Victory starsabre & victoryleo both being 3rd party voyager sized toys that combine to form a leader sized toy.
the only problem i could see is the small red jet would have to be basic sized, the brainmaster couldn't get done because it would have to be really tiny to form a basic sized head. having a basic sized red jet combine with a voyager sized hollow exo-suit white jet booster would mean be hard & impossible because starsabre has too much going on,he needs to be a decent sized to in-corporate all his gimmicks & combining aspects.

For the cost it would be it'd have to be something worth it. I'd be behind an Ultra class Overlord but leader would be too big. The size of any new toy should be more about the size of the character than about how big the G1 used to be. Scorponok and Fort Max weren't leader class compared to everyone else in the comics, either Marvel or IDW. They were Ultra to Optimus and Megatron being Voyager sized. Omega Supreme could be Leader class (to go against Devastator) while Metroplex would be Supreme. Trypticon should also be Supreme class. Hell, even the size difference in War for Cybertron between Omega and Tryp was huge! Omega could have walked around in Trypticon station without bumping his head. The G1 toys have it completely backwards.
So Leader Omega Supreme, Menasor, Defensor, Predaking, blah blah blah all combiners. What I think needs to happen is Leader class needs a name change. Like Grande class or something. It was called Leader because that the size they used to do Prime and Megatron in and that was is. The base unit is not smaller and the category name should reflect it.

IMHO,Making overlord ultra sized would be a bad idea because he's a Duo-con. his two individual vechicles modes would have to be deluxe sized in order for the combined robot mofe to be ultra sized.
IMHO,Masterforce overlord should be leader sized because his original toy had a lot of parts, accessories & that city mode. the smaller TF toys have less parts thus they can't cram that much into them. the bigger TF toys have more parts & space to cram in more stuff.
When it comes to getting perfection. I don't care about how much it cost. that's what credit cards are for,buy now & pay later. I ain't the kinda fan who likes paying less & getting a inferior product. I'm willing to pay more to get perfection.
IMHO,Only hasbro/takara would create a ultra sized overlord toy. 3rd party companies seem to care more & have more clues. 3rd party companies will most likely release a leader sized overlord if they decide to take on this project.

Good call on Thunderwing. The Stormbringer needs to be massive.

Must. Have. Ultra. Mode.

I third this 3rd party TF toy idea. A 8 inch tall 3rd party Thunderwing toy would be awesome.
Personally I want their to be a inner cavity in the 3rd party ultra sized thunderwing toy. a inner cavity so a minicon or basic sized robot named thunderwing can fit inside the pretender shell. I also want the minicon or basic sized robot called thunderwing to combine with the pretender shell in vechicle mode to that super jet mode. a minicon port would look best & be a nice nod to the AECU minicon ports.

have any 3rd party toys used the AEC Minicon port design? Part of me thinks that that particular specific part of the toys might be something which would leave the company making it more legally actionable, as it's a recognisable feature of a Hasbro product.
But yes, Big Old Stormbringer Thunderwing, that'd be cool.

I think using the same port design would be the least legally actionable thing 3rd parties have done.

I didn't realize we were talking about the hyper mode
version of IDW TF comics Thuderwing. I didn't like this form it looked hiedous & horrible in both modes. I think the year 2007 movie leader sized megatron first colors looked like a decent hyper mode/steroids IDW TF comics Thunderwing.
If a 3rd party company does bother creating a thunderwing toy. than I want it to look as much like the 1988 mega pretender toy as possible. I want it to be leader sized or 8 inch ultra sized. I want the toy to have a inner cavity in the pretender shell so a basic sized or deluxe sized thunderwing robot can squeeze into the inner robot mode cavity. I also want to see a super jet mode comination like the 1988 toy had.

In that case, no leader sized 3rd Party figs then.

As I couldn't afford them I'm going to say "none".

Since it appears a third-party Masterpiece-style G1 Soundwave is in development, and since a new Masterpiece G1 Megs is strongly rumoured to be coming, I have to go with G1 Shockwave to finish out the larger first season Decepticons.
After that, I wouldn't argue with a gigantic version of Astrotrain. After all, the Decepts were constantly riding around inside of him; he should get a size upgrade.

Most of these 3rd party stuff,I also can't afford. But I would never vote/Say "none". At the very least if I can't afford it,I still want others to enjoy these 3rd party toys.
Whenever I see a new mold 3rd party TF toy. I always give my opinion on it on a design+size+color scheme level.
Sometimes,I'll buy a table at a toy/comic convention & sell my Transformers toys. I no longer want. This money I use to buy Transformers toys that I couldn't afford but now can due to me selling un-desired TF toys at various comic/toy conventions.
I'd never vote against a new 3rd party TF toy I like but can't afford. because their is always the chance in the future via the secondary market. that I might be able to afford a 3rd party TF toy I like but couldn't afford years ago.
My current buy list for 3rd party TF toys in 2012 consist of the following: Hexatron,Greatshot,Leaderv sized G-1 Megatron. Leader sized G-1 Galvatron. Leader sized Fallen.
I might get the 3rd party Giant,if it comes in a gift set box & in G-1 lime green+purple colors. also the price must be decent. I don't know if i'll have the money to buy this,so I might get this years from now.
