In other Perfect Effect news, they have posted a new teaser image on their blog today.

The teaser depicts IDW Cybertronian Big Convoy as well as Lio Convoy with the tagline Perfect Effect 2012 coming soon. These Beast Wars Neo and Beast Wars II leaders may be the follow up to PE-DX01 Arcee.

Beast Wars fans who wanted third party takes on their characters might see their dreams come true next year.

Well, that's kinda awesome. Big Convoy is one my favorite visually striking characters and toys. I'm interested.

Lio Convoy looks like he transforms into Liger 0. If Big Convoy looks vaguely Elephanderish in altmode, they get all of my money. Zoid/TF crossover needs to happen.

From the looks of the drawings, somewhat like G1 Grimlock, Kickback or Razorclaw, with the alt-modes being robotic versions of a lion and a mammoth, respectively.

I can deal with that now. I don't know if my wallet can, though. It's an adventurous choice for PE, but if they turn out half as well as not-Reflector they should be pretty awesome.

Knowing PE they'll be $100 each and be the size of D batteries but come with a mountain of pistols and knives.

Big Convoy in particular looks really badass, his head's like an awesome mix of Star Convoy and Galaxy Convoy!

oh hell yes! that Cybertronian Lio is one of my favourite designs in years. Almost certainly getting that. I hope they make Magmatron in his Cybertronian form as well.

They could almost do it as a "truck" with a mechanical lion head on the front, as for Big Convoy he looks very cool and could be my prayers for a toy that resembles nova prime

I REALLY hope Lio Convoy is just a robot lion.

TBH I am game for both these. Here's to hoping they turn out in a good look & quality.
(If Leo Prime is as epic as Donnie's drawing is... I'd have to get 2, price willing.)
