...and the visor for Devastator!

I'm glad we're one figure closer to the set, but THRILLED by how responsive TFClub has been regarding the design flaws and defects. For the price we're paying, these figures should be close to flawless upon arrival. It's heartening to see the company is doing what they can to make things right.

As for Mad Blender, I need to get some shots of him in "Energon" poses, armed to the teeth. That dude is so awesome, I want a 2nd just to keep him in individual bot mode!

I agree, Necro...alot of people bashing on TFC on the whole "it costs so much should be QC free from the beginning blah blah"...but with the level of articulation and detail I would be suspicious if there WAS nothing wrong...but they have done an excellent job putting out fixes for thier shortcomings...

Already ordered and one more to go!

Well, it SHOULD have been problem free from the get-go ... but I'm definately satisfied by the fixes. I think TFC knows it's reputation would have been tanked had they simply left things as they were.

Man that hip fix is going to be a pain to change out..... I hope they have good instructions on how to do it. I also hope they have replacement plugs for the screw holes.

I have the first 4 and I have to say they are awesome. There is however one MAJOR flaw that I have seen NOBODY post or notice. It is the hole that the post go into on the 2 arm pieces of Hercules.

Now I know they fit in nicely and kind of tight to get in, BUT if you notice the actual hole should have a free moving "ratcheting"? piece that kind of takes the post in, and then actually turns inside that hole. Well It DOESNT! It actually just has to "grind" against the plastic on the inside of that hole. And the edges of the post are not that large so its not gonna take much to get it to "round off". So after some time its obviously going to "round off" like a screw tip does etc. So Im telling you all now, you better make sure you DO NOT play with Hercs arms too much or it could "round off" that post that fits in the arm holes!!

Anyone hear anything about this or notice what i am talking about?? Its especially concerning due to his size and weight. And I dont see them being able to "correct" this without coming out with entirely new toys. The legs post are the same as well. But your NOT going to be turning his legs like that much amnyway.

So far its a really cool piece except for the arm hole problems I mentioned in my last post!! NOTHING is worth the $600+ price tag, BUT if you want a big, badass Devastator and in the CORRECT size he should be. I believe this is it!!

Pleased we're getting the hip fix sooner rather than later, though I wish we were getting the final leg before the final arm; going to try to wait and get my final four pieces all at once (only have Structor and Dr. Crunk Crank thus far).

As for Neckbreaker, he's probably my least favorite of the crew, but he's still pretty nice.

So far i only found one flaw in the four figures i got. Dr. Crank is missing paint on his right leg. Somehow they forgot to paint the silver detail on his right thigh. Kinda stupid that they didn't notice it as it is clearly visible in the packaging.

Hoping that this can be done without having to take the whole figure apart like I've seen in a couple of the "fix" videos prior to the replacement parts. I didn't play with the hips of mine after hearing everything I did, but I have the four parts connected and he's good so far. It is a shame for as much as we are all spending on this set that we're having to do this.

What about the red gun pieces not fitting together either..?

It won't be that difficult to implement the fix. I you own a screwdriver you're good. I've had mine completely disassembled, if you don't want to do it yourself bring it to BotCon and look me up. I'd fix him up for you at no charge.

As for the connector port issue brought up by Cybershark, it has the potential to happen. I don't know that anyone has reported having and issue with it, and god knows I follow the hell out of this project on multiple forums. I noticed how stiff those joints are as soon as I attached all of them together (I have two Exgravers and two Structors) and decided the best way to repose him is to simply detach the limbs and just reattach them in whatever position you want. Would they ever round off to the point of wearing out? Time will tell. Should I have to detach and reattach them every time I want to repose him? Probably not. I don't move my figures around that much and it doesn't bother me to pop them off and snap them back on if I want to move his arms so it's no big deal to me.

Thanks El Duque ! I appreciate you helping me out. Ill see you in Dallas. I was also thinking the same thing about pulling out the posts instead of twisting them to move the arms. I got that idea from popping of a beer cap that didnt have the twist off feature.

Me too. In fact, I already would have if I hadn't had to pay for BotCon this month :\ Considering that they're all almost out already, I'll probably have to just save up and buy them all at once.

Glad we're getting a hip fix, there. :) I too wish we were getting Mixmaster first, but ah well. Bonecrusher was the first and my favorite COnstructicon. I might get a second to leave in robot mode.

So what was wrong with Heavy Labor's hips and how does this fix them? Sorry, I haven't really been paying much attention to these Hercules other looking at new pics and going, "Ooo! Me likey!"

The hip joint ratchet that allows for forward and backward leg movement wasn't designed properly and strips the teeth off the ratchet cogs. This fix should correct this issue.

I guess I lucked out because My Longhauls hip seems fine. If this fix allows you to pose it figure skater style, then it seems like a waste IMO ....

Looks easy enough. Five minutes if that to swap those parts out.
