Possible TFC Neck Breaker fault?

Hey guys, I got my TFC Neck Breaker a couple days ago, transformed it once, and put it on the shelf. Last night my friend came over and wanted to see it so I transformed it again and a rivet popped off the side of the chest piece. I had bought it from TFSource and their support was awesome and they are replacing it for me, so I'm super happy about that, but I was just curious if anyone else had a problem with theirs? I really, really hope this isn't a wide spread issue and it was just my bad luck, but if it is, at least we know that TFC is responsible enough to replace these bad parts as seen before.

Thanks guys!

Sounds like an isolated incident. I've got two and both are fine, nor have I heard anyone else have that particular problem. Sounds like you just got unlucky, but at least TFsource is taking care of you.

Yea that's my luck. I figured I'd at least post it and see if anyone else had the problem so if by chance it IS a flaw that needs to be fixed we can bring it to their attention.

Was it actually broken or could it be put back in place? If the latter, that's actually good news as far as I'm concerned... I'm hoping that damn thing gets a green upgrade!

It *can* be put back in place, but no matter how much force I use to keep it in place, it just pops back out during transformation.

Yeah, that's no good...and means a 3rd Party is going to have to be damn creative to provide a green replacement for that black piece of ****.

TFSource was nice enough to do the right thing and is replacing it for me. It does suck that it happened, I just hope it isn't a widespread problem, especially since the rest of Hercules is in the mail.

I haven't had that problem. The only two issues mine have had is the hips on Heavy Labor and the black blade on Neckbreaker looking like ****. Do check your replacement hips, though...or if you haven't gotten your Heavy Labor, take him apart and properly lube the leg gears. The 'fix' is only some grease added to the gears and it appears the grease job is pretty hit or miss. Get some plastic safe lube and make sure they're well lubed!

I do have Heavy Labor and I replaced the hip, everything seems great with it.

I Just got mine today and my Rivet popped out as soon as I moved it. So it looks like your not the only one. I have Emailed TFSource just waiting to hear from them as whell.

I just opened mine from BBTS. His rivets seem fine, EXCEPT the gray arm holding the right portion of the blade snapped at the thinnest spot around the rivit the first time I was transforming it. Now the blade doesn't have the strength to hold on to the center part.

I also got 2 copies of the instructions and 3 cards... weird.
