So with all the controversy over 3rd party happenings in and around Botcon this year, I was reluctant to even follow through with this venture. However, I have committed to delivering about 30 of these pieces at Botcon, so I might as well take them all.


This is not a mass produced "3rd party" product. This is a garage resin kit that I made a limited run of to meet the request of several Fort Max owners that reached out to me. A while back, I created a LSOTW Fort Max in which I designed a new 'faceplate' for Max (Cerebros' back) that could house an LED, battery, switch and have interchangeable faces. It is this design I modified to upgrade a factory Fort Max, without any permanent modification.


I like to think of this as a limited run custom. BUT, I also wanted collectors to feel like they a had a full fleshed out product. SO, I got on the computer, and ordered electronics, packaging, and box foam. I print box art and designed a matching pair of G1 replacement stickers for Cerebros. One to apply after the upgrade, and one to apply if the upgrade is ever removed.


There are only 50 pieces that made it through the final inspection. These are hand (airbrushed) faces, a solid colored grey plastic backplate, a red LED with battery and switch, two stickers and a box with foam CUSTOMS. Most of these are already spoken for, however I will have some extra's. The price is $40.

i really dont mean this in a nasty way but i just really dont like it at all. For the custom fort max it works well but on the original G1 toy it kinda makes him look more like -The Man in the Ion Mask-

or that he was born....special...

i think it works perfectly for the custom and the custom looks amazing and fantastic. I just dont think it works for the G1 toy thats all

Getright, I think it's cool. Especially cool that you knocked up a bunch more and went to the effort of packaging them up like a real thing. I don't have a Max (but would love a shiny LSOTW one like that there!) but I think that'd be a nice upgrade for anyone that does have one. Well done sir! (Now hows about more of them Dinobot-cars? )
