With TFC apparently doing nothing but Gestalts for the next few years, it's making me rethink my combiner display.

So conflicted right now.

Tell me about it! The Aerialbots, their concepts for these guys and the Technobots... I might have to add braces to my shelves!

I've been repainting a G1 Hun-Grr and was thinking about adding something like tiger stripes. These pics make me think I should go ahead and do it...

This Rippersnapper looks too cool by the way. Kind of like a Transformers Digimon

TFC is going to end up costing me a lot of money if they make all these combiners.

I hope they can figure out how to get production going to where these are somewhat cheaper. My wallet would be grateful for that.

Agreed. I love the idea of in-scale Combiners, but I need more space. THankfully it seems they'll average one a year so I have some time.

So much awesome. I love their take on these guys so far. Much more organic than robotic, but with enough of a techy/armor plated look that you can still tell they're machines.

I love their three-headed take on SinnerTwin too and the color coordination going on between most of the team.

They look much more like a team than your typical Scramble City combiner.

One of my favorite gestalt groups....

I don't care if he's larger than my other Classics Combiners, I WILL have him(and any other versions that come from anyone else).

My favorite combiner ever.

Abominus was the only G1 combiner I ever completed, so he holds a nostalgic place in my heart, but I'm not really loving these designs, so I'll be okay to skip them, unless I see some prototype pics that blow me away.

Abominus definitely needs more love.

Well, if these look as nice as my custom is coming, they will be awesome.

The striping idea is great for the Terrorcons.

If TFC keeps doing combiners, I'm going to be very poor, but very happy !

I think the main bproblem with the Terrorcons is found in the nature of the beast (lul).
Sure, they are generally monsters in alt modes, but they aren't specifically noticable monsters. I mena, Hun-Grr's fairly obvious and all, Sinnertwin as well, but as has been discussed so much over the years, what the hell is Blot? Rippersnapper? I think the biggest design problem these guys face is that they aren't as distinctly animal as say the PRedacons are, where you can design a gestalt form with a tiger hear and rhino horn as distinguishing features. With Abominus you just plan to get Blot's...face thing....sticking off a shoulder. I think while individual bots can be as memorable as any figure because they can be desinged in practically any way so long as their individual characteristics are present, Abominus is doomed to always be a fairly straight-forward looking bot.
