The last two are what really caught my eye. It looks like they have made a prototype/KO of Classics Prime to accommodate their Powermaster?

If so then it's a complete rip off.

looks to be just a replacement front bumber as it is only held on by two screws.

*Edit* Nevermind, just saw the grey prototype with the pushed in power master.

Perhaps that's a filler chest piece for those of us who don't want yet another Classics Prime in our collection?

it doesn't look like a straight KO; it's clearly been changed greatly.

I dunno how I like it. On the one hand it's bound to fit in better than Classics OP. On the other I was enjoying the thought for another add-on for him. Well ... I guess it could still be used that way.

Here's the weird thing, if you look at it the mold has been changed, the powermaster goes deeper into the truck. The whole front is different.
However, it you look closely, you can see red paint shining through the "chest" piece just under the blue, and then there are these 2 red spots on the right and side of the truck, as if the gray is just paint and it's chipped off a bit.
Adding to that, there is a metal pin in the side.

I'm guessing this is a mock up of something, as in it's a classics Prime, kitbashed to accommodate the new parts and then painted gray to look like a prototype.

This is getting more and more interesting by the minute, I hope the bot mode is also changed a bit to look more Ginraiy.

...suddenly I'm rather interested. Not gonna hold my breath that it's more than add-on parts still, but if it is a full figure I might be tempted to indulge, as I'm a sucker for the Classics Voyager Prime mold.

I'm starting to think they hadn't planned this thing out properly to begin with.

its possible that their intention is for the cab to stay in cab form.from what we have seen of the combined form, the cab is inserted into the chest cavity with legs folded behind. it is possible that the arms will need to be removed at the elbow and replaced with an assembly that allows the engine block to fit in.

just speculation.

I for one hope that is not the case because I, like Dead Metal above, would like to see the classics OP made a bit more Ginrai-y in robot mode (not combined) as well.

I can't help but be a skeptic of this thing.

Personally I'm waiting to see the final figure. I'm optimistic for a good God Ginrai though.

Oh yeah, I will definitely try and reserve my judgement until we see a completed project. I'll be on the second train with this guy. I don't want to be the one to test quality control but I won't hesitate to pick this PMOP if all goes well.

Not if they end up KO'ing the Prime fig...which is just odd if they do.

I can see the cab section being retooled a lot, so it might squeak through to BBTS or TF Source. If not there's still Robot Kingdom.

Well, Pokeheger is an entirely new mold and it's deemed too similar to carry, so I dunno. Either way, I shudder at the thought of the cost if they KO Prime with modded parts in addition to the upgrade.

I know it's hand painted, but I think it's looking pretty decent. Hopefully the quality holds up.

That is not looking hand paint as you say, I think that is original paint done by company. So if you want to made it, then you also can made it very decently may be.

So, the Classics/Henkei figure legs just hang off the back? Man, what an odd design choice. It looks okay so far. Looks pretty hand painted to me too. I'm still watching with my fingers crossed.
