So sick of these non-reveals. It's bad enough when it's art that may not resemble the actual figure in question, but this "get excited over a silhouette" tactic just annoys me. If Seibertron were still doing 3rd party news, I wouldn't even consider this sort of thing news worthy.

Too late people. I'm getting Hegemon, and that's my Megatron for the foreseeable future.

This would be, what, number 4? Who in the hell still thinks they have an original idea by doing this? Stuff like this is why online retailers are cutting back on 3rd party stuff.

not sure how it can be animation and comics accurate. especially when it doesn't appear to reflect any light whatsoever. regardless of crappy advertising, the Megatron from the G1 tv show (and I'm assuming this is going to be another interpretation of the G1 gun-mode Megatron) was quite different from the one in most of the comics. a light up gun might be cool, and the variable expressions is a cool idea (not an original one, sure, but that's hardly a surprise) and when it says "2 points articulated fingers" does it mean that each finger with have 2 points of articulation? or will the fingers be split into 2 posable parts, like say MP01 where he could move his trigger finger and the rest of his fingers independently of each other, but has no individual finger articulation?

know how all of my questions could have been answered? by them posting an actual picture of the actual product they're trying (and so far, failing) to sell to me.

Why does this always happen? i just commited to buy Hegemon on ebay.

EDIT: still staying commited to hegemon but if this DE turns out to be pretty good himself having a megatron in gun mode on display aint a bad thing.

No need to wait on pictures of this guy. I don't need a 3rd party MP-Megatron.

Actually I believe this is the second one, ignoring the two Targetmasters and the Headmaster.
There is Hegemon and then there is this.
I believe this is the same one as the one we saw that had zero leg articulation.

The third one was just a fan art render and was never intended as a full blown product.

Our expectations got MUCH higher and the 3rd party guys stated to compete directly. If FP's Bruticus were released now I think we'd expect a full figure, not merely replacement parts.

Don't forget MP Megatron v2. It hasn't been announced yet, but everyone and their mother knows it's coming. And that's sorta my beef. These buttplugs are just looking to beat TT (and/or each other) to the punch and get this out before v2 hits the shelves. How about instead they put their effort into something we dont already know damn well is coming. This is the **** that's ruining the 3rd Party experience IMO.

That's true enough. I'm definitely not interested in someone else's 3rd party MP Megs when I know the real deal is coming soon.

I believe it is the crap one.
The Glockenstein was nothing but a an art render someone did, it was never intended to be made into a toy.

so we're currently up to two, possibly 3 (if this isn't the crap one).

Anyone ever here anything about this project... (Im looking at you Daimchoc )
