huh. I dont know what to think about this. Its a well implimented idea, A shell that makes it a new transformer and all. But the whole Prime to G1 thing, I'm not to sure. It does get rid of all the fake parts though.

Very interesting i like the idea and it looks alright though the chest looks like he's had his chest panel removed to reveal his circuits .

This looks a lot like the work of TFW2005 member Wheel_Jack, his kit to transform Ratchet into Swerve. I just sent him a message to find out if he knew about it, but here's the link to his project: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons- ... e-wip.html

I was following the WIP thread on this over on TFW. I figured it would be available through Shapeways, not Robotkingdom of all places.

The chest makes a sense now with it being a homage to g1 swerve and not an actual upgraded ratchet torso.

Oh, right. I get it now. That's a pretty cool idea well implemented. Not a fan of the circuitry on the chest and I'd hope the final set came with a visor. The PRIME deluxes are small enough that he might look pretty good next to Classics Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, but I'm simply not sure if I'm comfortable putting PRIME figures in my Classics collection. I am intrigued.

I'm also a member here guys. :) Here's what i responded to in regards to someone else's inquiry.
"...these guys didn't rip me off but I'm also not the 3rd party. They might produce this kit if there's enough interest, and it's a potential tester for the inferno upgrade. I figured add ons would look better if they're factory made and be cheaper if enough people wanted them.
Basically, if you're interested let them know. "

also, yeah, it's not so much a ratchet upgrade as much as it is a ratchet conversion into a swervy character. ;)
