Looks really cool...and I'm guessing they decided to make him that big because it just woulda been too damn fragile as a voyager. But I still don't like how he scales with Prime and there's other stuff I'd rather have for $160. But it's a tough pass...

I pretty much only collect mp figures and 3rd party figures so the sizing is perfect for me. He has great paint apps. He will be mine this summer.

The Seekers look fantastic!!! I am hoping pricing for them will be closer to the Optimus price (under a $100) but we shall see. Im also really looking forward to Cannon Megatron!

Just shipped him from BBTS. I use UPS ground so might be a bit, but I'm patient. Looks fantastic!

He is a pretty good quality figure and little Shocky is completely awesome. He does feel a little fragile in the hip area. The real metal anchor chain is a nice touch. The hinges on the wings feel a little scarey to fold up.

Well if and when I do get this I garantee you it will be in bot mode way more than alt mode. Is it just me or does his head seem a wee bit small for this massive jem?

Got this in the mail a couple of hours ago, and it's taken me that long to transform him. Easily the scariest transformation I've ever encountered and that includes MP Megatron, also keep in mind I own about 1500 TF's. Nothing broke, but I did have one of the shin pieces come off. Probably didn't have enough glue holding it on, should be an easy fix. There was NO point during transformation that I didn't think something was about to break. Way to many small overly tight joints. I doubt I ever transform him back into his ironclad mode. A cool and interesting piece but not recommended for the faint of heart.

It's too bad he's so fragile and scary to own. Looks great but sounds like $150 best spent elsewhere.

To it's credit it nothing ever broke, but it's scary. Nice display piece though.

Makes me glad I usually transform my larger Transformers once into their other modes and leave it at that.

The quality looks pretty good. I am curious what types of issues if any have people had with him. The minicon sub is awesome, but they should have made it a different character. Don't need two Shockwaves.

Just got mine today and am loving it. The transformation/directions were a bit of a pain in the ass, but it's definitely a beast.

Got mine today, but resisted the urge to start transforming him, since I was a bit stressed out and don't like to deal with these things when I'm in such a state. Any particular tips on what to protect or avoid doing in the transformation process? I remember the stress of transforming the first KM, with his incredibly tight parts, and I want to avoid any bite-the-bullet moments.

Can someone do a comparison shot with KM-03 and MP-10?

Finally got around to transforming him and I can agree with everything El Duque said; he's absolutely nerve-wracking. At one point, I only had the head and wings left to transform, per the instructions, and thought that the worst of it was behind me; boy was I ever wrong. The only way to transform those wings is to essentially FORCE each section in what feels like the completely wrong direction. The joints that connect the wings feel flimsy but are quite stiff all the same, so I spent about thirty minutes biting my nails, waiting to hear the "crack". Fortunately KM survived, fully intact, which is more than I can say for my nerves.
Stress-of-transformation aside, I have to say that he is truly a beautiful piece. His promo photos don't do him justice. I would have preferred the "Deep Purple" coloring, based on my vision of what Shockwave should look like and for the opportunity to make "Smoke on the Water" puns, but in the end, I'm very much impressed.
Considering the scale, attention to detail, outstanding paint application, and niche popularity, I feel that this is an outstanding value for an ADULT collector.

Got him. And my god, he's gorgeous. As for the transformation... a little scary, but honestly not as bad as I thought it'd be.

Great figure, and I'm glad there are so many how-to videos posted regarding his transformation. The wings are indeed scary, and I managed to snap-off (and lose) one of the pointed edges at the top.
I really like this figure, with the exception of the pieces under his right hand. I know it's accurate to the design, but limits the hand articulation.
