So I think I pre-ordered within a few minutes of it going up on BBTS. I hope I am a part of the 1st wave of shipment.

Apparently there is 2 waves. One now and the other in late August.

Hopefully BBTS gets some of that first wave.

Dammit, I thought this was going to be something new from Maketoys. Not really interested in this version. It's basically a watered down Hercules. But I would like to buy a yellow version for my G2 shelf. I hope this green one brings down the price of the yellow one on e-bay.

wha?

we've know for 6 months it was just a green repaint of the yellow version?
It's not a watered down Hercules, it's a Green Giant.

Why did they give him a derpy, elderly, robotic, vampire head? Let's just call him Count Derpula...

looks like he still comes with a normal head, so you're all good. Also: Fanbloodytastic! If I can still order one when I get paid, that's it, I'm doing it!

Love how this set is packaged; just snap them together and you're done. The alternate head is growing on me too. At least it's original.

I don't liek the new head at all, but they packaged the old one in there so all is forgiven. And it's bald too, just as I like my Devestator. He must have a devestating forehead!

But here's a serious question: why type 61? I could get "type 2" or "type green", but why 61?

Type 61 is "1337" (leet) for G1.

Someone posted this on another thread, can't remember which one so I'm sorry if it lookes like I'm stealing thunder here.

I'd have never gotten that on my own. Thanks.

Say what you must, but in my eyes this is -the- classics 'Not-'Devastator and it fits my needs far better then the TFC version.

I can hear the conversation now...

(I answer the door to the postman and he chucks a huge box at me)
"How much was that"
"Erm... I got a good deal"

She still thinks I got City Commander for £20 :-$

When I got into my current relationship, I clearly stated that I do what I want. Of course, I'm not doing shady stuff either. Nearly four years later and we're as good as ever. I just tell her when I buy expensive things. If I feel like it.

I agree that is very important. I have an understanding wife, thankfully. Not like this poor sap. What a cow.
