Sorry Hasbro but no contest. The display at TFCon 2012 is vastly superior to what HasTak showed at Wonder Festival 2012. With everything I saw being announced at TFCon I got more and more excited. HasTak's display was actually pretty poor. Basically nothing new except a bunch of lackluster minicons. I'm kinda glad the HasTak stuff is kinda sucky, with the exception of the Masterpiece releases, it gives me the chance to save up for 3rd party stuff and get toys I have missed out on.

From what I have seen in pictures and ads, the difference between the two cons is pretty simple:

TFcon - committed to endorsing 3rd party products

Wonderfest - committed to Hasbro/Takara

3rd party companies are going to drop pipe bombs on Hasbro where they feel most comfortable.

Well, you get what you pay for.
