WTF did they do to Cliffjumper's head? (this is a KO of Fansproject's very first set - the Cliffjumper upgrade)

Meh, I already have the FP Cliffjumper set and never cared to install it cause the front bumper looks fugly as hell.
Also, this one seems a bit different. The head looks like a new mold with no extra faces, the rear spoiler is slightly different and there are no extra hood/engine vents pieces included.
Easy pass.

Odd that MGS chose to KO the same set for both characters as there is nothing wrong with Bumblebee really?

Ive gotta ask, what is going on with that head/face sculpt?

I picked up their God Sword KO a while ago which is perfect, no faults, which also came with a head and gun to make a Bumper using the Bee mold.
The hole seemed to be set back a little too far which makes him look a little weird (Im sure its on correctly?) so I hope they get these ones right?

I seem to have run out of Classic Bumblebee's, so on this occasion I'll probably give this set a miss, also that Cliffjumper head is just wrong!!

If these were single sets, and thus cheaper, I might upgrade one of my CJs.

But the heads are lousy, and they force me to get Bee parts I don't want.

If these drop to 1/2 price I may bite at some later date, as I like some of the bits.

It's about bloody time someone took a swing at a version of FPs Cliffjumper kit (not even anyone on Shapeways has either) - if FPs' excuse that the mold has broken since the first one, why not make a second mass release version?

Per-ordered this, glad I have a Renderform Gold Scout head (RTS 'Bees coloured version) - I'll be making use of both of these, make 'em distinct from the Classics / Henkei Bees I have

Im still not taken by this release..? Is this really a KO of the old FansProject Cliffjumper kit? If so, did the head sculpt really look like that? Its just so, blah!!

I guess the bumper add-ons will give the mold some toes which is okay I guess?

What in the hell is up with that head sculpt? Haven't we gotten enough Cliffjumper heads in the last couple years? Just get the Beelzeboss kit and call it a day. At least that head sculpt is good and the weapons are pretty nice. I just... heh. What is that head?! Hahaha!

I have seen them sold as just the red version from MGS and in a red and yellow 2-pack. Uncle Billy has the red only set in his store.

I got the upgrade the other day and first off the heads are small and horrible and didn't even get tested out but other than that i'm very happy with it absolutely love the rocket launcher , i'm now on the verge of buying the BB kit for that head to have an ultimate classics CJ.
