And yet another release from Crazy Devy, the much anticipated thighs and waist upgrade for Predaking.

The comparision picture with Hercules does a lot to show the height increase from this upgrade, but it's difficult to really tell what's going on or how one would add this to Razorclaw because there's no close-ups. Again, preorders available directly from Crazy Devy's website and BBTS. Is this the last upgrade for Predaking, and more importantly will it be a hassle-free installation unlike the releases for both the wings and the boots? Still think Crazy Devy lives up to their name? Let the comments begin!

Crazy Devy doesn't like to show off their products, so it's always a surprise if it's worth it or not.

Its impressive and all, but I never bought any of their other sets. And there's the Ferrocons coming out, which I'm drooling over, so ...

I have most of the other Predaking upgrades (except the feet and the shiny sword). It's really like someone buying "bling" for a Transformer, except in the case of the wings and the feet they could actually damage your figure. Predaking's stability is at risk because he's so back heavy now. I'm going to wait on any reviews before committing to this piece because other than adding height I'm not sure that it makes the figure look good. I'm also hoping it adds stability but maybe I'm asking for too much.

There's another guy out there that made a similar add-on and I was interested in picking it up (http://www.shapeways.com/model/681625/p ... Box-search) and he also addresses the stability when the enormous wings are attached. At least I know what I'm getting into if I go that route.

I'm also interested in the Ferrocons, but a). would like to finish G1 Predaking and b). not sure when those will even be released.

I committed to this project a long time ago and dammit I'm going to see it through! At least until MMC's ferocicons show up then this set's off to ebay!

The only Crazydevy stuff I have is for Hercules. I always thought trying to pass of G1 figures as classics is cheesy. The only 1980's G1 figure that I display on my classics shelf is Sky-Lynx because the scale is right and he isnt a box-bot. Id rather leave my vintage toys vintage.
