AgesThreeAndUp.com is selling the RFX-002 Customizing Kit, to change a PRiD Voyager Megatron into a PRIME style Galvatron. This kit was designed for some local customizing classes, so its designed differently than the regular Renderform kits, as this requires painting and some gluing. An instruction sheet will be included. The kits being sold will be casted in purple for the head and chest, and translucent orange for the canon. We decided this would allow for minimum painting for those not to experienced with customizing. However, I recommend painting parts of the Megatron figure as well, to get a better look.

This kit is limited to 100 sets, and we ended up with left over kits after the last class was done. I had gotten interest from people on facebook that couldn't make it to the classes, to release this kit. So heres your chance. This mold will be retired once this run is completed. And yes, this kit still allows to transform the figure into Jet mode.

You can preorder the kit here:

Renderform Dark Emperor Garage Kit - Ages Three And Up

Below are some photos of the testshot (black and clear), and completed customs from the classes we did, to give an idea how the figure can look with a paint job. I'll update within the next day with how the retail version looks in purple and translucent orange, unpainted, and with some minimum paint.

It'll include instructions how to assemble and where glue is needed, as well what to do and not to do with the kit.

As far as how to paint, I can't really give instructions with that, as it can be painted anyway you want. Either with brushes, or just using a can of krylon paint.

This is some awesome which I really hope will got into a second run rather than being retired.

My only thing at the moment is the cost plus shipping to the U.K. which be a killer Im sure... but its still a cool bit of kit!

I would rather see the kit you got coming for Takara DOTM Vortex. ;)

very nice. Price and shipping put me off, but otherwise I'd be 'aving it.

It really is a splendid rendition of Galvatron. I'd much rather have this on my Classics shelf over that god aweful Universe deluxe tank. It's a pity it's so expensive to buy and ship.

Update

Here are photos of how the kit looks out of package for the retail run.

I also have photos of how the kit looks with minimal painting. I just used silver on the face, chest, and canon. You could get away with not painting the canon at all. I also use black for the eyes, based on my original concept art.
