Function X - f[x] = combin (f9,J12)

Possible "combining" purpose as well????

Don't you just love it when a 3P company overloads you with information ;)

Whatever it is im sure itll be something worth adding to my collection.
Then again the term function x refers to scienctific calculations and whos more scientific than computron???
Just an opinion >:oP

Yeah, I think I see some members of the Technobots there too. The first bot has a decidedly squarish head of a Scramble City limb. I'd love a Neo-Computeron. And how about a Neo-Defensor, while we're at it?

I see the Technobots too ...

I'd rather see Defensor, though. Since he's the last unclaimed Season 1-2 combiner.

Edit: TFW points out that these very well may be the Headmaster line that was teased back at TFcon. I can see that a lot too.

That makes a ton more sense. I think I was thrown by the initial comment of combiner and the formula just screaming Computron.

Yeah, Function X is FPs Headmasters line. So, no Technobots just yet. Glad to see they're rolling forward with this line though and not letting it stagnate like their Glacierbots or Collector a.k.a. Junkion Combiner.

These are head masters... The only reason why I posted possible combining effect was due to the equation.

Function X - f[x] = combin (f9,J12)

I bet that's in reference to the head combining with the transector.

I wonder if they'll have the tech spec readouts on the chest...

As am I. I'll get excited when I see some prototypes.

Seems kind of dumb to tease something they already have shown drawings of. (Headmasters) But I kind of blame the fans for the creation of teasers. If more people sent 3rd party companies e-mails denouncing the use of teasers, they might listen eventually. Instead they fill up these threads with pages of "guess who" comments. On topic, I hope it is the Headmasters. With Superion coming out this year, plus Menasor and 2 Predakings in the works, I would like them to save the others for later so collectors have time to afford them all over time.

I see teasers as something akin to reality shows. No one seems to really like them that much, but they are easy to produce and can generate a lot of comment...

Now, if only the bots drank moonshine, argued with each other over designing the best alt mode, cut down trees that landed on Allicons, and drove over frozen crab traps all while trying to sing the best rendition of "You've Got the Touch" at each other's weddings, we'd have a real pop sensation on our hands.

(Personally I kind of like the speculation...)

I guess this at least verifies that they're moving forward with these guys. I'm looking forward to them.

I am sure the 3rd parties use the teasers as chance to test out the waters and read comments on boards like this before commiting financially to the project. It's better to know fans' reactions before you start investing.

If they're doing that, then they can know that I'm on-board with these guys ;)

you'd think they'd get more reliable info looking at the response to the prototype images/concept art that we've seen already

That's about all I'm taking away from this. I really hope they end up looking better than the renders we previously saw... looked very plain and not very "Fansprojecty".

Preorders close December 16th!

FansProject and BigBadToyStore are teaming up to help out needy children this holiday season! FansProject and BigBadToyStore will be donating $20 (wholesale cost) worth of toys to the Toys for Tots organization for every piece of the Function X-1 figure preordered by December 16th. We'll gather up the huge donation on December 17th and deliver it to Toys for Tots and we'll post images shortly after that.

This figure is a four wheeled vehicle that converts to robot mode and it features two scoped rifles - that is all we can tell you for now!

Preorder now and help us make Christmas memorable for many needy children.

FP has yet to cease impressing me. The way they encouraged giving to the Red Cross after the Japanese Tsunami, and now this, I have the utmost respect for the organization. While I am one who has the greatest of intentions in donating, and sometimes follows through, it's activities like this that really help spur me to action. Pre-ordered!

Also, props to BBTS. One of these days I'll hop across the border into Wisconsin and shake some hands.

 Well struck.

I preordered this thing without thinking. That is the power FansProject has over me. :-( I'm really not sure what to expect from this, and that's what makes it exciting. The price puts it squarley between the Causality line and the Warbots, so could this be Chromedome already? I'll be slightly miffed if it's a special, almost generic colour scheme as I suspect it could be, but oh well...

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!

I bought one. I'm glad to know that some will be going to charity, but to be honest I probably would've preordered anything FP at that price.
