It sure looks good in vehicle mode. I may get these, but I need to see how much $ they want for them first.

Well, their Alicon was pretty awsome. Their Arcee much less so. So we'll see what we see. The proportions we saw earlier left a lot to be desired, but maybe it's changed or maybe it won't be so bad in color.

Not familiar with this, though something from my past rings a bell... is it some sort of Cybertronian Seeker?

Yes. This is how the seekers looked on Cybertron according to G1 cartoons. Can be seen in season 1 episode 1 chasing Wheeljack and Bumblebee prior to departing for Earth.

Yeah... I had a little storybook that showed these guys.

Wow. I have to say that I am more tempted than I thought I would be. I had been sold on using the FoC mold and supplimenting with War Within Titanium and Unicron Trilogy Seekers to fill out my pre-earth Cybertronian mode Seekers. If they did a set of these in Rainmaker colors, I might just have to bite.

Of course, with all the third party goodies (and Has/Tak too) I might not have any funds for these...

Yep, been reading and watching these on Tformers and TFW2005.

They are looking pretty cool actually, a very nice and faithful take on the Cybertronian jets!

As the wings where being transformerd, they looked a little thin/frail? Hope that wont be an issue down the line.

Looking good though! ;)

Im buying all of them !!! My FOC Starscream is still in my pile of loot and it's already gonna get replaced. A little complex and delicate, but thats ok. My only wish is that IT would make their figures a little smaller to scale better with classics deluxe figures. Same thing with Alicon. Less plastic might have meant 60 bucks vs. 80 bucks which will for sure be the price I bet. I also like the way they intergrated the cockpit into the robots chest instead of using a Hasbroish fake cockpit.

I think this is the first time we're seeing a conehead in bot mode (Thrust). Glad he's still coney. Also, I assume we're seeing alt mode picture for Ramjet - without a conehead he would probably make a good version of GF/Cybertron Starscream due to the color scheme.

If anything I'll be getting a Starscream, the rest will have to wait awhile.

I think the concept's cool, but the robot mode proportions bug me. If these were cheaper I could see myself impulse buying one, like I did Nightbird and Sonicron, but I don't think I'd want to grab a complete set.

Of course that begs the question: if you're only going to buy one, which would you buy? Starscream?

Not gonna bash a figure that hasnt been released yet on QC, but Valkyrie just left me with collecting scars. That black pivot piece that connects the cockpit to the body is all to reminiscent of Valkyrie and I swear that piece is not strong enough. The wings also look fragile, very thin and just something that's going to be fidgety and not in place.

This is one of the most clever designs I've seen in a while, but unfortunately I'm seeing the same level of quality in the execution that I've come to expect from these guys.

If they'd hire out the designer to a different manufacturer, this could have been an amazing set.

Not going to touch these until someone reviews it. Also I would only get the rainmakers.

yeah, don't think I'd get any of the big 6 seekers. or even sunstorm, unless it was a rainmaker set. could be persuaded to buy a purple generic if the price was right, but don't like it as much.

still, it is nice they didn't do a hasbro-ish fake cockpit like the ones on the classics seeker mold, the mp seeker mold, the cybertron seeker mold, the WWI titanium seeker mold and loads and loads of other seeker designs. :HEADHURTS:

edit: in all honesty I think the cockpit is too long in robot mode, and elongates the torso too much.
looks pretty fragile too, especially the wings. it is nice that someone worked this alt mode into a physical product though. only took 30years.

Think Legends class seekers. Also consider the classics Ironhide/Ratchet front chest window that had absolutly nothing to do with the alt mode. Also RTS Wreck-Gar's head, complete with handlebars and a bike windshield that becomes part of the engine block in alt mode. Now that's Hasbroish. :HEADHURTS:

the transformation is a lot more complicated than I expected. the plastic sounded rather thin in the video when it hit the table and seeing it bend.

okay, I can't argue with those examples. they've got very little relevance in this case though.

Up for pr-eorder at BBTS. $10 off at this time. Regular price $59.99, special pre-order price, $49.99

7 of them:

Banshee (Starscream)

Rebelor (Thundercracker)

Prankstor (Skywarp)

Smashor (Ramjet)

Boostor (Thrust)

Requium (Um...I don't know. Doesn't look like Dirge, thought the name sounds like him.)

Solarblast (Sunstorm)

Even at $50 a pop, these are too expensive for my tastes. I'll stick with what I have. I always thought the look was goofy, even in the first G1 episode.

[Edit] Also, pics of both bot and alt modes are up on BBTS. Sorry, too many at once for me to take time right now mirroring them.

Impossible Toys has been developing the Tetra Squadron figures for quite some time and they have informed us that they have put forth great efforts to meet and surpass the standards fans have come to expect, so these will a great addition to any collection!

This is supposed to surpass the standards that fans have come to expect? The jets look cool but there is no way in hell I will have these robots on my shelf.
