It's both a bit late and a bit ugly, isn't it? Hardly does the original by FP any justice with those neon translucent hands and feet. I guess the blue might work if you were a major Energon series fan... but again, it's a bit late, isn't it?

Unless there's a KO of RotF Superion it's VERY late. What's the point?

I don't get the neon colors either. Why?

It's a KO. It doesn't have a point.

Id buy a KO Snowman version for 50 bucks. I got the energon set ready to create a new character when Uranus replaces FP Superion.

I have the original gray set and painted it dark metallic purple, but I didn't use the RotF set for it either. It looks pretty cool. But I agree that these in clear plastics is an odd choice, and definitely way late to the party.

It's funny that I was JUST talking about this set in another thread though (the legit FP version, not the KO, which I didn't know existed at the time).

I could see it used on the original Energon set. I have them stored away, but weren't the original "hands" and "feet" translucent orange and blue? Seibertron has pics of the gift set. I seem to remember purchasing mine separately.

Yes they were orange and blue, good call .

I'm primarily with everyone else here, but not because of TFC, as I really could care less what the hell they put out for Aerialbots.

I can see one tiny positive out of this, though not nearly a big enough one to get into this kind of thing: The translucent visor piece would be nice for actually allowing the light piping to shine through it!

I have my RotF set and original Fansproject set, so I wont be jumping on these, but I would if I still needed the extra appendages.

I would like to guess the clear versions wont be the only/final versions, hopefully a set in standard grey, white or black plastics will make an appearance?



More interest would be generated if the folk behind this KO set had done the Fansproject Bruticus add-on set, minus the 2 new figures to keep costs down?
It would have flown off the shelves, as such!

I might get this if its cheap... like $20 cheap... cause I'm prob the only one with the Superion set with out the FP kit. Kind of don't want to pay 100+ bucks for it.

You are not alone.

But, if you are not a huge fan of that superion (aka are waiting for Uranos or some future 3p release) spend $5 for a set of G1 bruticus hands, and use the FP transformation for the limbs.

It solves 80% of the issues with the figure, and saves you scads of $$$.

Think i got the wrong hands. =X

I have the legit, original version. It's a good set, but not worth over the $30 I originally paid for it. I dunno how good the KOs will be, I hear CHMS has gotten betetr at copying the FP moulds.

I got the ones that are light gray, and they don't appear quite so ham-handed.

No, but with Uranos nearing completion, this may have dropped either entirely, or until some unspecified later date.

I know I'll probably save my $$$ and not bother with this set at this point.

That incarnation of Superion will be getting boxed up soon.
