Wheelie looks intriguing. I think there might be a few Powerglide options available already...

Don't get me wrong. I like the character and love the Warthog, but I would think there are a few other characters that would be better suited to receive attention.

I already have Glider and he's of a size with Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, and Warpath. Don't need iGear's more expensive option.

Wheelie might have been a buy, but at Scout size I think he's too large. Legends size is perfect for him. Plus, I'm still burned by the way iGear marketed Gears and Beachcomber, so I think I'll pass on their offerings.

not sure I like the look of that Wheelie.
Already have Maketoys Bomber and he's plenty Powerglide for me.

I want Wheelie, but not sure I want this Wheelie.

Powerglide is an easy pass.

Wheelie on the other hand has me torn. I want a Wheelie of that size for my Classics shelf, but the rear wheels on this ruin what could've been something good. Will wait for colour pics.

That wheelie looks smaller than rager and spray i wouldn't want to pay any more than 25 for him and powerghlides weapon i hated it on the ultra class figure :BOOM: .

ok, still not loving Wheelie but if he's the size and price of Rager, I'll probably get him.

They really missed the boat with Powerglide. They could have really engineered this toy to be something special/different like getting rid of the standard VHS. Instead all we get is a bloated, over-stylized turd that's a bad derivative of all the previous 3P Powerglides. Can you tell I'm disappointed?

The others aren't much better.

Boooooo iGear!

Wheelie, maybe. Powerglide, nah. My Universe Voyager is just fine and dandy there. ;)

None of these 4 really hit the mark for me.

I'm on the fence for all of them.

I like the prototypes more than the renders, but there is still a lot I don't like, and all of them seem like missed opportunities.

It is going to really come down to price, and what else is coming out at the time. >:oP

I actually like wheelie. At that size he's just about right and maybe good enough to replace Legends Wheelie.

Wasn't he Ultra Class? I remember thinking that though Powerglide was a minibot in the G1 line (and in the cartoon) I was okay with the larger side being that he's an A10 Warthog. From my desk here, he towers in the back of my display.

Off the top of my head, I'm not 100% sure. the larger version, basically. For me, see the sig. ;) Scale's not that big of a deal, mostly. I won't buy a Legends-Metroplex, but the big Powerglide's all right for me. ;)

Yep, yep, yep!

I love the fact that G1 'minibots' are being given their deserved size class. it makes sense, of course!
Why would you have a giant plane smaller than a 2 door car? :BANG_HEAD:

Sizing offering from Hasbro/3rd party/KO is now playing a large part in my collecting of Transformers, it makes so much sense, really! >:oP

Bring on this homage to Wheelie, nice n small, futuristic in design, and possable/articulated enough to do the character justice! :APPLAUSE:

I'll believe that when I see him in a slingshot firing pose.

It was indeed ultra class, and I love it. What gives it a bit more credibility is that in an early issue of More Than Meets The Eye (I think :???: ) he was seen towering over most of the other Autobots.

What he said. ;)

I'm at a loss as to what iGear have done with these figures. Given the abundance of the Classic Bumblebee mold and the variety of potential Powerglides, I can see why iGear may have decided to phone these figures in. But surely you'd be looking to convince collectors to fork out for yet another version of a character instead of half-arsing it.

I think that is exactly what they were going for, especially with BB & CJ, but with the other 2 as well.

Like you said, there are options for these characters already.

By going for the toy homage, instead of the G1 toon or comic look, their BB & CJ do go a different route.

But it seems to be a case of good idea, poor execution.
Bumblebee, especially, looks like he needs to lay off the high fructose energon snacks.

I suspect it is a similar choice for Wheelie being tiny.
His original bio stated he was small, so they went with it.

Again, OK in concept, but here in reality, I'd rather he fit in the same size class.
If they are going that small, I'll probably save the $$$ and stick with legends Wheelie.

I'm liking that Wheelie now I see how comparatively small he is. I'm just hoping he is available separately.

It took igear like 2 years to release the sharkticons. So expect a wait. When these come ill probally buy them. Although the best powerglide to date is x transbots version still in my opinion. Same thing for wheelie.

xtransbots dont do it for me. wheelie is to big and his car mode looks like its missing pieces. and powerglide looks good, but a little soft. igears versions arent perfect either, but i preffer them. to each his own though.

Finally replaced my Universe Ultra Powerglide with the Henkei Ultra Powerglide which is much more fitting in his red deco, thanks to a UK Ebayer.

I do not need any 'mini-bots' in the outdated childrens pocket size/scale.

Now when it comes to Wheelie, I am surprised that such a small yet iconic character hasnt yet been given a proper 3rd Party makeover.
Hasnt it been something like two years since iGear teased 'Busta'?

The X-Transbots/Jizai/Superalloy figure is too large, as is the GDO orange 'Jazz' Deluxe... :-?

I don't see why either of these would be off the table. iGear takes a long ass time to get anything done. That's just how they are.

I would assume these are off the table cause the last 4 sucked so much. Looks like almost everyone that got them is disappointed and replaces them as soon as something better comes along. (That's what I did)

I think in today's 3P market Igear's Mini bots will not sell esp for $50 a piece they want. the whole mold probably has less then 20 parts. What a rip off!
