WHOA! Was not expecting that announcement. So I guess we're not limited to the initial 8 molds iGear teased awhile back for the mini-bots they'll release.
However, that larger, unique Cliffjumper mold needs to go back on the table for release.

Not impressed.
What happened?
These were iGear's bread and butter for the foreseeable future and the last 4 revels have been weak at best.
Guys, go back to the drawing board.
ALL of these can be improved.
Brawn and Cosmos were great!
Not perfect (but then what is?) but still really nice versions of the characters.
Gears and Beachcomber look to be the same standard as Brawn and Cosmos, but none of the new four seem to be up to the same standards.
At this point I'm just looking for Wheelie, and only then because he is the only Wheelie in that size class.

Not interested. I like my Classics Cliffjumper and it took me a long time to find the Bumblebee I wanted for my shelf, so I'm in no hurry to replace them with these guys.
HOWEVER should they do a Glyph/Tap-Out repaint, I'm so in.

The first Classics BB is still for me. Really, this is the better size for him, but I'm not looking to shell out for it just because it's the better size. It's also beter proportioned by the looks of it. Cliffy looks good, but I already have GDO Cliffy and he's doing the job well in my eyes.

At first I didn't like these, but I think they are growing on me.
Bee's torso looks fat, but it looks to be a homage to the original g1 toys with a lot of the design decisions. Cliff Jumper looks perfect.
Ugh...I didn't want to like these...i already have the classics, and one would hope MP versions will come out someday?
Maybe this will force Takara's hand for MP-20

???? Furthermore, what are the chances BBTS/others don't carry it because it is too close to the G1 design (i.e. Quakewave and Hegemon)?

Depending on how much CJ is and how he scales with classics BB, I may pick him up. Not crazy about their BB though.

Their Bee might work if they fixed that god-awful head.
The CJ doesn't look too bad, but does it look better than Classics CJ?

Couldn't agree more. iGear have really let themselves go with these four. I'll be skipping all of them if they turn out like these renders.

This is one of the rare cases where I will say that the figures are not neo enough for me.
The figures really need to be more streamlined with more of a waist. The car cab chest looks too big. Or is it that the shins/wrists are too small ? And Bumblebees head just sucks. Im not going to say I wont buy them, but they cant replace Beezleboss Cliffjumper and Artfeather Bumblebee. I like the idea of Glyph and Tap Out repaints though.

You felling alright?
I've got Classics BB and very happy with him. Using HftD Hubcap as my CJ right now and would consider this one if the price was the same as Hench and UFO. The only minibots I really need are Wheelie and Hubcap (small bit of irony there) and not sure why iGear are wasting time with characters that have had a number of toy and upgrade releases.

They are more 1984 than classics if that is your preference, also no kibble on the arms, and looks like none will be on the back. I wonder if they altered the face on BB on purpose to escape any kind of IP (longshot guess)?
They should have done Windcharger first though.
There are enough BB and CJ releases by Hasbro already.

I've wanted a G1-styled, yellow VW Beetle 'Bee with decent poseability since the '80s, so this is cake for me. If it had an original toy-style head, that would be the icing. I always preferred the toy heads over the cartoon heads for all of the G1 characters.

I'm really looking forward to these. I need a Bee and CJ that are a little shorter than Hench. It's too bad that iGear takes so damn long to release their products. Maybe they can get some of the old CHMS sweatshop workers to work for them. Those guy were fast!

They look ghastly!!!

My Classics BB isn't getting replaced anytime soon and my current Cliffjumper stand-in (missed the classics version and not interested in tracking it down now) looks
much better than that
Thank you iGear for helping me save money.

I might be persuaded to get these. Don't have a proper Cliffjumper, and this one looks decent, and has the bazooka! Not sure on Bee. The official Classics one is still mostly alright. The bot mode on this one does have the VW elements I loved from the G1 down to a t though.

Stinger having duel matching pistols was unexpected. Maybe slightly influenced by Animated?

I like that they gave a cartoon accurate BFG to Rocky, but they need to make it so he can carry the cannon in car mode, maybe on clipped to his spoiler? Or do the two guns mount in the screw holes on the sides of his windows?
