I tracked down our last comments to each other in the Boxbomber thread regarding this matter. I have a Rhinohorn in hand and just tried him out. He fits in G1 Blaster's chest cavity, but doesn't quite make completely into Device Label Blaster. I can't comment on G1 Soundwave as I don't have one on hand to test.
If you're looking to keep this guy in SG, he fits perfectly into SG Blaster.
Well, at least he can fit into G1 Blaster. I asked at TFW about G1 SW and they said he blocks the hook that's used to close the cavity, so no dice there. Obviously he can fit into SG Blaster, but I wonder if that can still use the two tapes feature that was supposed to be the entire point of having overlarge doors.
I actually mesh all my casettes together. Autobot, Decepticon and 3rd party are all in one display for me. And my benchmark for that is "it has to fit into G1 Soundwave". So this (and SteelPaw, based on the Eagle version) are big disappointments; I'm not sure they have a place there. I hope new moulds from these guys take player compatability into account, because Rhinohorn seems to be so close it hurts.
But it still seems like the regular version is good for my Neo G1 Movie collection, even if I might question their place in my casette display.
