According to people more knowledgable than I, the Throttlebot's altmode is a Lambo Urus SUV

Oh wow, those look amazing, especially Optimus Prime! Judging by their pricing I doubt I can get on board with these but damn does it look good.

Hasbro should just hire these guys. Out of all the 3rd Party companies out there I feel these fit in best with official Hasbro products.

The fact that Optimus's front wheels actually pivot is pretty sweet.

I like FP's Brainstorm better at the moment, and the Trottlebot is an instant buy. Hell, Optimus looks good, but I want him to work with FP's trailer.

So now Im thinking about going with Toyworld for the Autobot Headmasters and FP for the Decepticon Headmasters. Smart Robin might be getting cancelled. Im about as happy with Chases car mode as I am with the Searchlight SUV but ill still get it. Prime would be so Awesome but they screwed him up with the movie style split window chest.

Halfway through the Throttlebots and so far so good. Really curious to see how Wide Load and Goldbug turn out.

Pretty committed to FPs headmasters so, I'll be passing on the Toyworld version and I already have an Optimus for my classics, though I have to say this one looks good. Additionally, this Optimus almost looks like it could incorporate a Powermaster gimmick what with the sunken in abs and square-ish alt mode. I'll keep an eye on it if that's the case.

Digging the Throttlebot!
Instant preorder.

I need to see some comparison pics with the FP Headmaster.
I'm still really up in the air over which set I'll be buying.
Soon as I ship my PoL I'll have one from each company.
Gonna have to make a decision soon.

Not sure about the Prime.
He looks excellent, but I don't know if I have a need for him in my collection. I don't really have an IDW shelf, per-se. I have the iGear mini MP-01 as my classics Prime and I'm really happy with it.

That's for sure!
These guys have nailed the classics aesthetic.

Oh, I wish they would compliment FP in Headmasters releases rather than competing. I love FP Chromedome. I am very happy with TW Hard-Head. It'd be cool to fill out the cast without having to choose...

I wonder how big OP's gonna be. I have too many versions of him already, so I'll likely pass. But it will be neat to see the final results.

I've bitten on the Throttlebots and won't be stopping any time soon...

Think I'm going to stick with FP's headmasters. from the looks of hardbone and code FP's headmasters are probably considerably smaller. I think I'm more into that scale.

IDW looks awesome but I have a feeling Has/Tak will come out with one sooner or later since they're doing the whole IDW comic thing. there is no way they would not make an Optimus in a Voyager size... I hope.

The new Throttlebot is looking pretty cool. Aesthetically it's something new, but why does ToyWorld insist on upgrading everyone's vehicle mode to a Chelsea tractor?

Optimus is interesting. Maybe it's because it's not yet in colour, but it doesn't have the same dynamic feel to it like he did in the comics. I do really like Henkei Optimus, so this needs to do something to blow my socks off.

Brainstorm's a pass. I'm digging the mouth plate considering FansProject's has the Japanese animation-accurate face, but the proportions are killing it for me. Makes me think of Revoltech. His guns look kinda pitiful as well. Think I'll be sticking with FansProject's more conservatively sized Function X figures.

Yeah, they really tricked us with Grind Rod. Everyone thought the whole series was going to be G1 accurate. But then again, Jeeps dont really change too much over the years.

What ??? No faceplate on Smart Robin ? Now Im really leaning towards Toyworld. Maybe I can start a Japanese shelf for the FP releases along with Stepper, Artfire, and Metalhawk.

That Prime is an instant buy.
can't wait to pre-order him, Spot light is cool, but I'll need to see color pics.

I liked the lithe version of OP from the original teaser pic. This one is nice looking, but looking at his alt mode makes me worry there's no clearance for him to roll around. I think the aesthetics of his alt mode suffers because of this.

Mooncakes, OP will be the same height as Hegemon.

I'm feeling the same way - I'm in for Chase. Optimus looks pretty good. But sticking with FP Brainstorm.

Optimus is supposed to be the same height as Hegemon, so he is an instant buy for me. I'm sick and tired of all these voyager sized OPs and Megs and can't understand how so many people want them to be that size :BANG_HEAD: OP and Megs are supposed to be bigger than most others, not the same size.

The Thtottlebots are an instant buy as well. Would be nice if they had put a bit of imagination into the alt modes though.

As for Brianstorm, easy pass. I was hoping that ToyWorld would complement what FP was releasing, not compete with them. I don't care about the faceplate and FP's version looks much better in my opinion.

I think this has been discussed before. It's likely to make the most popular characters affordable to parents of children who want them. (Also why we have 5 different sizes of movie OP)

This looks less like MTMTE Brainstorm, so I'll probably pass.

I really don't care what size this ToyWorld Optimus is. I said I Think Hasbro will make an IDW Optimus Voyager size instead of just the legands size we have (cause of all the IDW stuff we're going to get this year). And if that's the case I would like to see both before i decide what to get.

Edit: Hegemon is Voyager size too no? just cause hes a little taller then Classics OP. Hegemon is basically the same height as the new voyagers Soundwave, Blitzwing ect.

I don't know, with Hasbro doing IDW, and also 30th anniversary, I don't see how they don't make the same style voyager Optimus??? And a deluxe Arcee for that matter. Toyworld and MMC could be out of luck.

I guess we will find out at the next Hasbro panel where and whenever that is....

Very true, and I might have. Part is not having time; part is being lazy. :P

And now, this thread may proceed on its way to oblivion...
