So I decided I want to get tfc's Hercules, but I also want the rage set as well but nowhere I look seems to have it.

anyone know where I can get one or if tfc will put more out any time soon?

I can't help you on the Rage set, but I am looking to sell off my Herc for cheaper than he'd go for retail. Maybe that'll free up enough money so you could afford *shudder* eBay prices.

Not to sound cynical, but when you want something over a year old, you usually have to P2P. I've paid extra cash for a few items that I wanted bad enough.

ok never heard of chimnungmung. ever done business with them? how are they?

I know ill have to pay extra...I been in this hobby along time im used to haveing to pay extra.

looked and was kinda surprised there were no rage sets on ebay at all. send you a pm bout the herc.

Chimungmung (Tony) is very reliable. I have bought from him many times. I never heard of Taobao so I cant speak for them.

Just wanted to chime in to say I have purchased from chimungmung a couple times and its been great service.

I had no idea this had become so rare. The rest of the Herc figs are pretty common!

you are probably set on it but Hercules doesn't need the upgrade set. He looks great without it.

I decided I wanted to buy the Crazy Devy Purple Barrel just after it went of stock at TFsource. Can't find the darned thing anywhere.

Grrr.

not really dead set on getting one, mostly i like the added shoulder width. though with the few ive managed to come across I think ill do without at this point. unless tfc released more then maybe.

Edit: Annnnnd I just clicked to check on it and it's really out of stock. Kind of a deceptive way to list an item.

It's possible that TFC makes another run of these at some point. Most of their products have seen another print, and considering how many Hercules sets are out there it seems that there would be demand for the Rage set to be available.

So, either have lots of patience or take the plunge and buy a marked up version through eBay. Sorry you missed out on the set.

ill more than likely wait, just really got interested in third party stuff, still waiting to hear from a board member on herc. so not in any hurry.
