Cool, so this is based on FoC Swoop?:

I'm with X regarding it being a cassette. I'd much rather have a figure that transforms into this:

Yeah, I dunno. It's a nice cassette, but ... Swoop? What? This is a very solid "I don't know" from me. I collect cassettes, but I have a strong "no non-official guys" policy. Otherwise KOs would count, and most of those are ****.

Technically it's not Swoop. It's a cassette that turns into a Pteranodon and based on the FOC Swoop design. You can even see (sort of) a Decepticon logo on the dino head. Also, KFCToys was also planning on doing Dino Cassettes. There was even a photo that Scaleface posted that looked like a T-Rex. I'm under the impression that this one as well as the one that Scaleface posted are somewhat related.

Yep, you're right. I can see it's a Decepticon symbol molded in place of the Autobot symbol on its beak in the last pic. Weird that they designed it based on FoC Swoop (clearly). I wonder if the T-Rex is going to be Overkill.

it looks like a nice toy, but I can't see myself buying one. there are plenty of actual Cassette-formers I'd like to see first before we start making up entirely new ones.

Shame that it's so small and transforms into a cassette as that's an awesome rendition of FoC's pteranodon.

When I first saw this I thought of an MP sized Swoop for a sec... then I saw MP sized cassette... MP sized cassettes are the same size as regular cassettes so why do these guys advertise them as MP size? lol

No idea, and you're 100% correct. MP sized cassettes are only different in details, transformation and articulation. Size has nothing to do with it.

I also can't see how something like this would fit in anywhere. It's an oddball concept really. An MP cassette that transforms into FoC Swoop's alt mode but is a Decepticon. I don't think there's a very big market for those these days :P.

Thanks for posting.

It kind of looks cassette shaped, but I wouldn't go so far to say it is a cassette.

Yeah, other than the overall shape, it looks nothing like a cassette. Was a little interested until I saw that image. Easy pass now =;

Not interested in dinobot colors. Make one in red and do the other 3 Japanese dino cassettes and ill buy them.

It's nice to see that it's painted. That's a step up for Eagle and I hope he continues to improve.

But, yeah ... unless they make this in red it has no place in my collection. I gotta draw the line somewhere and made up cassette modes for official characters is it.
