A lot of the time when we get a CHUG rendition of a figure from G1 it is in completely the wrong scale, either deluxe or legends/legions. my question to you is what large character do you want redone properly? and for bonus points, can it be retooled/repainted? Who do you think could pull it off?

I'm thinking a MakeToys Overlord done in the style of their Chaos/Paladin Fallen figure wouls be really great. Mostly because they could bring together to seperate vehicles into one awesome beast!

Another one I'm hoping for is a large Thunderwing, probably by MMC, in scale with their Sixshot (Hexatron)!

What do you guys think?

I don't think Overlord's a good example. Botcon Overlord's in exactly the right scale (although there are other things wrong with him).

I'm going to go with Trypticon. The last Trypticon I remember was a mouse. Although with Hasbro doing Metroplex at Titan class, I'm hoping they see reason and give us his Decepticon counterpart.

Skylynx by MMC. That would give this guy some killer curves, and we know MMC is building credit by their larger figure offerings.

Unfortunately, I can't think of any literal repaint/retool uses as Skylynx was so unique.

Personally I would love to see MMC do Hexatron in voyager size. The comic Sixshot's huge size makes a great alibi for buying a MP sized figure, but in my heart Im all about cartoon scale.

I hope Fanstoys keeps their word on that voyager sized Quakewave.

I also would love to see Igear make larger versions of Spray and Rager plus a larger Pipes repaint. I always felt the G1 "mini-bot" line was just a gimmick to sell toys to cheap parents who weren't in the mood to spend 10 bucks on their kid. I never felt the original mini-bot scale was meant to be taken seriously. They were all close to the height of the regular Autobots in the cartoon.

I would also love to have a voyager sized Galvatron. A smaller voyager though. Not one that's going to tower over Cyclonus and Scourge too much.

Trypticon and Omega Supreme are at the top of my want list for larger figures.

Though, I also suspect Hasbro will release Tryp in 2014 to counter their Metroplex.

For 3rds I still see a need for a geewunny Omega Supreme.

we've seen proto pics of a big (BIG!) Overlord by some 3rd Party or other. We'll see if it comes out.

I love Generations Thunderwing, I really do. He's got a great sculpt, especially the head, and some cool light-piping, and the alt mode it cool, and he looks great with AMW-04 standing in for his comic-accurate multi-barrelled gun. He's just so bloody tiny. I'd settle for a good-quality upscaled KO, but a brand new 3rd party mold could have the Pretender gimmick and/or the ultra-mode from the Stormbringer comics. Of course, there's still the hope that Hasbro might do at least a Voyager sized version based somewhat on the IDW comics or even the Prime game. (and of course, once someone does Thunderwing, they retool a little and stick a Black Repaint (TM) on him and we'll all buy it twice as Black Shadow)

Someone, somewhere needs to deliver a nice Voyager sized, Classics-looking Galvatron that turns into a stupid space-cannon thing. I agree with Rated X that he shouldn't be so big as to tower over Cyclonus and Scourge, but definitely be a Voyager in size and complexity, with nice big chunky thigh-high boots like he just raided Gene Simmons' wardrobe. Heck, for height issues they could even maybe have the stretching legs thing of the G1 toy, and have it optional, allowing us to make him shorter so he's only a bit taller than his troops, or quite tall indeed, so that he can go face to face with City Commander for some awesome Time Wars duelling.

(ok, I'd still like a proper all-in one Ultra Magnus, be it G1/Classics styled or more like the IDW version, and speaking of IDW: a Voyager/Ultra sized Fort Max and Scorpanok would be cool too)

I forgot about Galvy. Probably because I use Superlink Galvatron G, but yeah. He needs to be done. I wouldn't mind an ultra sized one to match Hegemon, though.

Also agree with a scout - deluxe Huffer and Seaspray. I dunno if I trust igear to do it (they'd probably just upsize without adding in any new details), but it's something that ought to be done.

Scorpinok ... I wish Headrobots would release their add-on set for Energon Dark Scorpinok. But I guess they never will. Those guys just aren't ambitious enough (or are too small a company).

Maketoys Overlord with PCC joints sounds kinda awesome, especially with the crazy mix-n-match possibilities with Chaos/Paladin

Personally, I'd love to see the Japanese G1 transformers get the 3rdParty treatment, like VictorySaber, LeoKaiser, PowerMaster OP+Godbomber, Deathsauras, RoadCaesar, Landcross.

If Planet X did a WfC Trypticon to go with their WfC Omega Supreme, I'd be all over it.

I'd also like to see them do a proper FoC Metroplex. The Generations Metroplex is cool, but just doesn't cut it for a proper FoC representation of that big bad bot.

We did sort of get that already, at least the Powermaster Prime part and the same company that did him plans to do a Godbomber add-on for it last I checked. I have mine combined with Henkei Prime and it is awesome.

I would absolutely love a Dai Atlas, Roadfire and Sonic Bomber set.
