Im not so excited about the Terrorcons being scout sized like all FP releases. Escpecially after the underwhelming Menasor. I hope TFC or MMC beats them to it.

Agreed. In fact, unlike with the Stunticons (who no one else seemed to have any plans for at all that I ever heard about), TFC has already teased concept art for the Terrorcons and Technobots some time ago, and I'm fairly certain they'll follow through with them eventually, so unless FP absolutely blows me away with the designs and combined mode on these, unlike Menasor who seems decent, but not astounding by any means; I'm going to wait it out, regardless of whether TFC actually announces theirs or even teases it between now and when FP releases theirs.

I'll only snag FP's (again, unless it totally blows me away) if TFC straight up comes out and says "We will NEVER do the Terrorcons/Abominus, EVER!"

I agree completely. That said, with TFC releasing their own Preds after two competitors got the jump on them, I'm thinking that TFC will be releasing their own versions of all the gestalts no matter what

These are not Terrorcons, or suppose to be them. Glacialbots are totally new characters and designs, like Steelcore.

Dudes, this is the homage to G1 combiners FP showed us back witht he first concept for Protector and Defender.
They are Ice Age animals that combine into a very retro G1 blocky gestalt.

Alright, totally new. I missed out on Steel Core, and while the reviews were raving, I never really felt bad about missing. I thought if he ever came to BBTS I might pick him up. But, since he was not a G1 character, it wasn't heartbreaking.

These fall into the same category. If they are not G1, then I don't have a vested interest. However, I cannot say "easy pass" either. I'd like to see some pics. I'd also like to see these at the major retailers like BBTS.

Because, if they are not available at BBTS, then it does become an easy pass.

This topic brings back good laughs. I find the concept art nostalgic but way too blocky to consider buying.

FP is biting off more than it can chew. They haven't even finished Menasor or their Headmasters .... and they want to resurrect this old idea?

I can see the image, but the link isn't working for me either.

The image looks interesting, but ~$350 for a gestalt that is not filling any holes in a collection is a hell of a lot! (assuming they will be priced around the same as the Stunticons )

Also updated the previous post. Looks like the Board software replaced the link with a google entry... That's now fixed.

Not grabbing my attention as much as their other products, but that might have to do with 1). anticipation for the rest of the Stunticons and Headmasters and 2). no real connection with these characters. I'm sure we'll know a whole lot more in the next month or so, with TFCon around the corner. Maybe then I can be a bit more excited. That, and finish releasing your other products!!!

Some unconfirmed prices have been posted over at TFW2005 and this set might be below $200USD. Possibly, if the set is G1 sized. We'll see if we get more concrete information. For now, it's all just speculation.
