Hi daimchoc, the original and full pictures that these were taken from were posted by Yoonakron here, if you want to mirror those too - there are some much better and bigger ones:
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transform ... pic-4.html(I created that comparison pic at the bottom to show him next to the game model, seeing as some on TWF2005 think he's too chunky - personally I think he looks great, and is a definite buy.)

Looks interesting, but he'd have to be about the same size as Hegemon (at least) for me to get him. Hope we get some size comparison pics soon, not to mention confirmation that they will be doing all five

Dinobots: It's about time.
He looks a little stumpy to me in robot mode, but we'll see what comes of it.

Color might help this look better. I definitely want some Dinobots. I was hoping Has/Tak would include the lot in the upcoming commemorative line.

I would love FOC Grimlock to have all his compatriots... I really like the FOC designs.
Swoop looks chunky here, and it doesn't seem like he would fit next to voyager FOC Grimlock though.
This looks like TFC designed this?

looks fine. I need a Swoop. Still hoping at some point in time we eventually get a G1 Cybertron mode Divebomb ("He's still using my name!") but even with his chunky (accurate) design, I still have a space for this guy in my Classics collection.

I was about to say that that looks a lot more like it until I saw the pteradon mode. Arms by his side, fold legs up and lift head? A bit simple. It does look good, though whether the rest of the team and what their sizes are will be the deciding factor.

Let's be fair here; there's no real way that his transformation could be that complicated. Bird Transformers are usually far simpler than even four-legged animal Transformers in terms of transformation sequence.
**yes yes I know a pterodactyl isn't technically a bird, but it IS in the bird-archetype of TF design.

Well, the theories have been proceeding that birds are actually dinosaurs, so in a backwards manner...
Sorry, straying off topic. Has there been any rumors at all from Has/Tak on doing more of the Dinobots? (Not directed at you, Mkall.) Until I get word of that, I'll be seriously considering the Planet X offerings.

No, and I doubt they will. There have already been comics (and of course the game itself) featuring them, so that was pretty much their chance. They're doing Thundercracker only because of the Spotlight issue he's getting (and that's just a repaint). I think Grimlock is all we're going to see from Hasbro for the foreseeable future unless they're in the movies or the next series (in which case they likely wouldn't use the same designs as in FoC).

That is true, but pterodactyls aren't dinosaurs. Dinosaurs never flew
As for Swoop, he is looking better the more I see of him.

Swoop looks better every time i look at him, in that last photo his legs don't look as short.
I woundring if they are going for all 5 dionbots or are they just doing the 4 to accompany FOC Grimlock

Aye, I suppose you're right.

Personally I hope they're doing all five. I'd buy a third party FoC Grimlock if it were an improvement over the official one. I'd absolutely love a varied size scale for them all: Snarl and Slag the same size, Swoop a touch smaller, Grimlock bigger and Sludge the biggest. If they do that, I'd be all over them.
I hope Planet X add a hinge to allow the wings to pivot up in robot mode to give him a more accurate look to the in-game model.

That is the same size scale I'm hoping for as well! Though I'd need Swoop to be bigger than his current Deluxe size...
Fingers crossed Toyworld's take on the Dinobots will be a better size

It looks good. Wings look a bit wide to me, but I see they're on hinges, so that won't be too much of a problem. What's Planet X done before, if anything? Sorry, drawing a blank.
