THIS IS HOW YOU DO A PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!

No silhouettes of in-progress sketches. No pictures of only part of a figure. No heavily pixilated picture.

Just some straight-up product shots of the (what I'm assuming) near-completed prototype.

Still, I don't collect MP figs, so this doesn't do much for me, but it's still a better reveal than many other companies offerings.

Huffer is a girl?... lol

also it looks huge, doesn't look to be in-scale with the new MP Line

EDIT: Never mind looks to be in scale

I like it. I dont give a damn about MP scale. However if he is the same height as Hench/Cogz, he will be replacing the midget sized Rager on my classics shelf. You cant win with scale, but this is a serious improvement over Rager. Bring on the Pipes retool.

I wish the cab would sit a little lower in robot mode, but otherwise I'm very excited about this. This Huffer looks great!

Looks great! So that is MP scale then? Looks like it is quite a bit bigger than iGear's not-so-mini bots. If so, I'll be passing in favour of the eventual Takara release.

Love the design and the size is perfect for MP figures. His head is just at below MP Sideswipes chest. The design and transformation looks very similar to MP Huffer prototype that was shown with MP10.

Interesting that there aren't any pics of it standing up on its own. Have a feeling it's too back heavy to support itself.

Those are two different ones, the one the topic is about and the XTransbots version at the bottom (I wonder what XTransbots knocked off since I don't remember any other company making one before).

This looks kinda cool, but there is something off about it, mostly the head could be better.

I don't know how to feel about this. I would imagine every season one character is on the table for Takara to do.

I do like 3rd party stuff, but I just really hope that 3rd parties doing MP's does not deter Takara from doing the same characters. No offense to Quakwave or the 2 Huffer designs, but Takara can do better IMHO.

I like vehicle-mode of Cubex and robot-mode of X-transbots.

I'm wary of X-transbots though....the quality of their Powerglide is suspect, and their Ironhide and Ratchet were supposed to come out almost a year ago. Its almost worse than Igears delay, but no one is paying much attention.

I can't put my finger on it, but he doesn't look like Huffer. Maybe it's his head and facial expression.

He is looking better in these pics, very show accurate. Not sure why they are doing a comparison with a non-MP figure though...

His head is a bit different, but otherwise he is Huffer.

Glad to see more masterpiece scale figures, but Ill wait to see a video review before I pull the trigger. In all the pics he looks back heavy and is leaning forward to stand up.

Even though I know Takara will be doing their own version at some point he is hard to resist!

Very impressive. Fits with the Masterpiece style. And I like how he's short in robot mode yet bigger as a truck.

X transbots is still wining between these two characters imo , the only thing i like better on this one so far is that the shins have no wheels hanging off them .

Yep, this image confirms this figure is not actually Masterpiece in scale but large Deluxe/Voyager at best.
Do I really need to point out the scale difference between a car and a large truck/rig?
Im not knocking Cubex and their take on Huffer as it offers a great alternative to having two similar looking figures which portray Huffer and (X-Transbots) Pipes. ;)

The MP line has been trying to keep to 'toon scale, and this would be about right for Huffer.

I like the engineering on the other Huffer better, but this fits as more of a G1 homage due to the alt mode being spot on to the G1 toy and toon.

I'm in wait and see mode on these guys.
