Am I missing something here? Is someone making a FOC Metroplex?

It's just a tranforming Gun for the HasTak FOC Metroplex.

But Generations Metroplex isn't FOC Metroplex, he's a brand new design, he isn'T even based on his idw appearance.

I went ahead and just changed the thread title. Is that okay with you?

Yes that was in the begining before people actually got to see it for themselves, the inside sources referred to it as FOC Metroplex, but as it turns out it wasn't andd hasn't been referred to as such for a while now. For instance our sources also claimed we'd be getting Classics Shockwave and Grimlock, it then turned out to be FOC Shockwave and Grimlock.

No sense in sticking to a misunderstanding, or we'd still refer to Beast Wars Optimus Primal as Optimus Prime.

lol what is this transforming into? Just looks like the gun opens up. When I first read the title I thought we're getting a Sixgun.

I believe only people with the Hasbro version with one gun would be interested in this.

2 guns would be nice. But I'm good with one gun. For the most part, he only had one gun in the cartoon. And he usually fought Trypticon with his bare hands. I'm not sure about the Headmasters cartoon. The story plots and horrible translated voice actors kill the mood every time I attempt to watch it.

And for the record, I'm glad the WFC/FOC line is done. I can stomach IDW because it at least tries to replicate G1. WFC/FOC was kind of pointless to those who don't play video games. I confess to buying WFC/FOC toys because they looked cool, but in a perfect world I never really needed them.

You mean after we get Thundercracker. And, aren't we also getting Skywarp finally?

I'm possibly interested in this, depending on where his gun mounts in alt mode. If someone could turn the red gun design into legs and feet with a tower into torso, and incorporate the shoulder guns as arms, we'd get our Sixgun, right? #wishfulthinking

I loved WfC/FoC, not just because I played the games, but also because, like you, I thought they looked cool. Really cool. It was a neat line and I hope they do continue in some form eventually (still want ProjectX to do a WfC Trypticon and a proper FoC Metroplex :P).

Anyway, I'll be skipping this unless it can be used to make Sixgun as I'm getting the Takara version.

I fall in the category and I am very interested. Didn't G1 Metroplex have a tank?

Yah, a tank that turned into a tower.

Metroplex can mount both guns on his shoulders, correct? And he still has two hands free.

Now what was the name of Soundwave's minion who transformed into a white and blue dinosaur....?

The bottom left mode seems to resemble a tank while the bottom right mode looks like more of a field artillery piece. The idea of having both seems redundant so maybe I'm wrong. Blurring the images like that also seems redundant.

Ultimately a Sixgun would have indeed been preferred.

I would definitely, in theory, be interested in a second red gun for Metroplex. (Damn you HasbroToyShop.com! Damn you all to hell!) But I don't think this one does it for me.

The transformations seem kind of pointless. As others have said, if third parties are going to supplement Metroplex, I'd rather they give us something that allows for Sixgun. Either a non-transforming gun that comes with a few additional pieces and can also incorporate the guns Metroplex already comes with... or a transforming gun that (like this one) matches the look of Metroplex's existing red gun in gun mode, but by itself takes on a robot mode that looks like Sixgun. (I know that would discard the whole thing about incorporating all of Metroplex's weapons into Sixgun... But think about it! Then you'd be able to have a Sixgun, but still have an armed Metroplex!)

Throw in a little white tank that can attach to Metroplex's city mode somehow as an additional tower, give us a new, better functioning ramp for Metroplex's chest, and there you have a perfect updated Metroplex. :)

I like the idea of Sixgun. But hope that they do it from 1 large red gun instead of combining six guns. (I know it defeats the purpose of his name). ;)

I'm guessing you don't have Metroplex :D

That's the size of his red gun in an average size adults hand.

Wow, some really nice touches to this. Too bad Has/Tak couldn't have done something like this. I suppose the cost of Metroplex would have been even more...
