Cartoon/comic accurate Hench

OK, I just wanted to start a thread to vent a little here.

A new Cartoon/comic accurate Hench is up for preorder on BBTS.

I'm going to get him, because he was my favorite back in the day.

BUT: It sucks how they create the art work teasers that are show accurate on these Mini-Warriors, then the painted protoypes look one way, and then the finals look completely different.

I was one who was upset when they changed the original Hench's arms to all silver late in the process. I thought maybe it was a cost saving measure. Now it turns out it was a way to get people to buy two of them.

I feel like they should be upfront with people on if they are planning to do multiple versions of a toy, and which one they are presenting to us in the first run and later runs.

It's more cartoon accurate so I'm all in. I guess ill give my other Hench the "toy" option of reprolabels and turn his head with the faceplate. Expect the cartoon accurate Beachcomber, Swerve, and Outback soon. Then there's the inevitable Sharkticon repaints. Igear dammit stop making me spend so much money...

Yeah... not a chance in hell I'm buying this. I already got their Brawn, and I'm not paying more for some damned paint that should've been there to begin with. :HEADHURTS: >:oP

iGear don't give a damn about their customers. We should hit them where it hurts and not buy this figure.

Haha you're the biggest Igear fan I've seen. Everyone else hates what they do with the repaints... you're the only one that loves it and don't care about their shady business practices. Oh well more power to you.

Me... I'm pretty much done with Igear... Sharkticons might change my mind. maybe..

You only live once. If you don't spend it, money is just paper. Is Igear shady ? Hell yeah ! Is me complaining about their shadiness gonna help make my classics shelf more awesome ? Not really. I don't boycott a company over something I would probably do myself if I was in their position. They know how to make money.

I dunno, even with the more accurate deco, I just can't get into iGear's minibots for some reason. They just strike me as some 'super-deformed' type toys, especially in vehicle mode, and definitely don't fit in with Classics at all IMO.

My attachment for Brawn is not strong enough to replace one costly version with a pricier one.
