It's looking like it could turn into a really cool figure. I wonder whether the extra armour will add any height at all. I hope it does.

I'm getting slightly worried about Hexatron. Didn't MMC say we'd have pre-orders by now?

While this looks decent, I'm just not feeling it... it just doesn't look like a Transformer to me. I like my bots a bit more "blocky". Will have to see what the combined mode ends up looking like...

Agreed. It's too sleek for me. It would fit well in TF: Prime, but not on my classics shelf.

I agree 100%! Nova Prime isn't exactly a character that's had a lot of interpretations over 30 years, he's been drawn in basically one design, and I'd be fairly surprised if anyone wanting a toy of the character wants it in anything but the Don Figueroa style. I'd take that kind of departure in design at a Hasbro price-point, but as a 3rd party product, I'd like it perfect, or not at all. Then again, we'll see. Maybe they'll sell it super cheap like the Twin Twist and Topspin that just got revealed, and then I'd consider it.

You do know that that was already done before by master collectors, right? Though, it wasn't released due to issues with some of the partners.

Now THAT looks like a Transformer!! Yes... I think most 3P enthusiasts like myself are aware of that figure, which never happened. That's what I, and most others who want a Nova Prime want. It's a tragedy that project never went through... but there's no reason MMC can't do something similar instead of this medieval-looking Tron-figure. No offense to MMC, I just don't like it... at all... and it's a bit depressing after I've already seen how it can easily be done right.

Maybe it's supposed to be the Sentinel Prime we saw briefly in TF Prime? Kinda looks like that.

I like how it looks...just not as Nova. It actually reminds me of Vector Prime, with the mid evil looking armor.

You're right...there's definitely a Vector vibe with the armor and saber. Will definitely pre-order this baby.

That looks great! Puts MT's attempt to shame, but that isn't hard I wasn't really interested in getting a toy of this character, but if MMC go through with this, I just might have to bite.

I agree with the general statement over there though: this one may look good, and have the sleek MMC finish and extra armour - but it does not look like Nova Prime.

I prefer the MakeToys version.
