I like the look of this a lot it's spot on G1 cartoon accurate .

The classics figure is nice i like him a lot especially with reprolabels on him but i think we all will agree he's way too small , this MF-01 looks to take his place.

I love the g1 look of him, and I love he is scaled for classics.

His head sculpt still needs work judging from the pics on TFW.

Also at 10" high you would think he would have less blocky hands or at least articulated.

This guy is the reverse of that crappy SXS Gears. He is MP scale, but not even close to cartoon accurate.

This is amazingly show accurate, but well under the size required to fit with MP's. Granted he will fit nicely with a Classics collection, but not sure I want to replace the awesome Jetfire toy at 3P prices just to get a Jetfire/Skyfire that is a little taller :-?

I want one. Glad were finally getting some 3rd party cartoon accurate figures that scale with Classics.

Isn't he MP scale? he is standing next to MP10...

In the cartoon and on the scale guide Skyfire is a lot bigger than Optimus, even bigger than the Dinobots, so that makes him Classics scale.

Who are these Mechaform guys? The proliferation of different 3p companies is starting to do my head in! #-o

The robot mode looks pretty spectacular, but the jet mode looks too plump to fly. As others have said, it will take something special to depose Classics Jetfire. Although a Jetfire with thigh and bicep swivel may be too cool to ignore...

Nope. It's classics scale. If you go by G1 cartoon standards, Skyfire was huge. And this figure is definitally a homage to the cartoon redendition of the character.

Wow, this thing looks amazing. I'll definitely get him, but I'm not certain where he would fit in. He's too cartoon accurate for classics and too short for MP.

G1. I do still have a G1 shelf for my G1 and G2 figures. I'd put this one there and call him Skyfire. Image

I'm interested, probably until I see a price...

How big Skyfire is in the cartoons really depends on the episode. When he first appeared he was towering over everyone. In later episodes he is the same size as Starscream. I think the beauty of this is that It can work in a masterpiece collection which if it does I will get. I don't really want to replace the awesome Has/Tak Jetfire. (which always worked for everyone's collection even though he is shorter then Optimus)

I didn't think Jetfire was shorter than Classics Voyager OP.

Image
There's a perspective difference in this pic, but I remember Jetfire being almost exactly the same height (maybe slightly taller) than OP without the helmet and definitely taller with the helmet.

I tried doing a Google image search if there was a better pic, but all I found were these. I forgot about this combination...

Image

At any rate, I do agree with those who would want to put this one with their classics. It would certainly go with many of the cartoon images. However, Skyfire was as guilty as any in Mass Shifting...

I'll have to double check when I get home. I always thought that that the classics Jetfire was shorter then Classics OP.

HAHA that combination is awesome. It's actually the reason I brought Classics OP and Classics Jetfire back in 2010 off ebay. =X

, I might do the same, actually now that you mention it. I don't have a G1 Jetfire although I've always wanted one (just haven't gotten around to shelling out the $300 or so for a decent one yet) so I might have this one as a stand-in for now.
