This looks good but i would like to wait and see if fans toys down size QuakeWave to a voyager first.

MP or Classics scale, I don't need it. Got Quake Wave on pre-order and BH Shockwave for my Classics set.

I'm not sure about all that clear purple plastic, honestly.
Not sure how I feel about that gun mode, but then again, I doubt many of us will be displaying it in any mode other than bot.
Too bad he's only about voyager Classics size. He'd make a great addition to my MP/neo G1 collection.

I have my doubts Quakwave will be downsized. I know they said they would do it, but you would think we would have heard more on that by now.
This MMC cyclops looks cool, they have a lot of projects in the pipeline though? When would this even be released?
Gun mode looks weak unless they have a silver add on to the barrel like G1?

It looks alright but Quakewave is cleaner looking. Steelian has hollow forearms and legs and seems a wee bit too kibbley to me. It looks like it's crystal plastic.....that has me intrigued though.
Have to wait for more info/pics to pass judgement.
Definitely not holding my breath in anticipation for it's release.

The robot mode looks better than Quakewave but the gun mode flat out sucks (only because of the front barrel) I'm not sure how I feel about the clear plastic because I know that stuff is fragile. But to my knowledge it is not a promise that Fanstoys will downsize their Quakewave to the voyager size most people really wanted. I think they said "they might". So I would definitely buy this just in case Fanstoys breaks their word.

MMC is just trolling everyone. something is up.. I wouldn't get your hopes up on any of these last three releases. but this one is only one that I would want.

Hmm We had a thread for this... Looks like it was removed, maybe from a DB Rollback as the site had issues yesterday. This figure is 6.5inches in height for the robot mode as stated by MMC.

I'm feeling spectacularly lazy today.

6.5" puts him at tall voyager height, right? Similar to the recent Sansdtorm/Springer mould?

ON TFW they're discussing that this seems to be more than meets the eye.
Apparently MMC seem to have created a base mold that can be used for multiple different characters with little extra cost.
Since this render here seem to be the same mold, with a few differences, as their Perceptor and Brainiac.
If this is true, it's amazing.

This looks great. I really hope it comes to fruition. This is what I need for my Classics shelf.

That's a nice size. I love Hexatron. If this waits for mid-next year, I may be very interested...

This guy is slightly too beefy, yet paradoxically also slightly too gappy...
Oy vey.

What do you mean? What's up with their last 3 releases? Are there issues with their not-Predaking?

I know they recently announced their own take on brainstorm, being the 3rd 3p to do so. Perhaps that is what's being referred to?

Yah, I think so. Non-perceptor announced; then canceled. Not-brainwave announced. Expected to be canceled given the response? Now not-shockwave.
I have to admit. With Predaking and Sixshot, I had a lot of high hopes for MMC...
OTOH, my wallet gets a much needed break?

This whole business of teasing and cancelling figures is supposedly just a way to gauge support for the next project after Nova Prime. I find it quite annoying. Some resolve would be nice. BUT, I continue to have high hopes for them based on Hextaron, Feral Rex, and Nova - they just seem to be considering multiple paths forward right now.

Read on some boards that MMC themselves (forgot the poster but he is from MMC) saying that there is more to meet the eyes with these last 3 reveals. As someone has posted earlier. They also said somewhere that they love trolling the fandom. Also heard that because of what happened with the Predakings (TFC drama) that they want to go after everyone. That's why they're doing all of these releases that other companies are already doing. I'm thinking they just want to mess with these other third parties? And seeing fan reaction before they commit to which they make. like previous poster said the last three reveals all share similar molds that is re-engineered. going to be interesting to see what happens
Nothing related to their Predaking (that I heard of). so no worries there.

Not impressed.
A scaled down Quakewave is what I'm waiting for.
Between my custom voyager Shockwave and US release of Prime Shockwave, I have acceptable choices for classics until that happens.

Personally, I'd like to see a Fallen figure from MMC (I'm not into the whole MakeToys PCC thing).
Or, better yet, a figure to pair with Hexatron, like Ultra Magnus or Galvatron.

Oh no, that's just wrong.
Not sure how I feel about this design. The robot mode is looking pretty much perfect, but to be honest I've gone off the idea of Shockwave transforming into a laser gun.
Will wait and see.
