This is very tempting just to get the Chip part of the set. But I already own 3 versions of this mold (regular, pink, blue) and the United Bumblebee with the Renderform kit, plus the Beezleboss kit. And then theres the Toyworld version for their Throttlebots that will eventually come. So honestly I don't need another Goldbug. But this would be a great alternative for new collectors instead of that crappy Camaro Goldbug Hasbro will be putting out soon.

I would like that Chip Chase, but don't want the Goldbug.

How much bigger is this vs the classics mold they copy off of?

Exactly the same, since this is just a repaint (well with new head and new accessories) of their earlier KO Bumblebee reshell.
Oh wait, I just checked, he's slightly taller than the original, but that seems to be an effect of the kibble.

This looks very nice. I'm extremely tempted to pick one up when its released.

Tempting is the right word.

I like the Artfeather BB mold, but I wish they had done a few things differently.
But, add in Chip and that binary load lifter looking thing, and this is a reasonable set.

On the other hand, like X said, I have a decent Goldbug now, and Toyworld's version is coming up, so this is pretty redundant.

That's very cool, but damn expensive. I'll have to wait a little, can't afford it right now. But I believe I'll get this for my MP collection if the scale is about right.

That listing no longer works, and there is a listing for a loose Goldbug, that does not appear to have Chip.

I wonder of they just opened a few and split them up?

I would be interested in picking up the loose Goldbug as he would be significantly different from Hasbros Bumblebee, yet as Rated X mentioned earlier, ToyWorld have more Throttlebots to come, so I will probably hold for that version.

I guess I should have jumped on it since that was the only part of Goldbug I wanted.

Oh well. I would have been disappointed if he was larger or smaller than Wu's Spike and Sparkplug.
