Upcoming release from Zenith Forge. Add-on/Upgrade kit for Beast Hunters Optimus Prime.

Upgrade Kit Designed for Transformers Prime Beast Hunters voyager class OPTIMUS PRIME. Kit will include the following:

1. New head modeled after first edition Optimus Prime with minor characteristics from Beast Hunter Prime. Head needed to be specific size to retail transformation ability.
2. New neck joint with ball joint that replaces current neck joint.
3. Massive screen accurate gatling gun with rotating barrel!
4. All components will be produced/painted in plastic and accurate colors.

Something's off about that head, but the gun is awesome.

I'm assuming that's because they're saying it's based on the First Edition head. Optimus' face grills were more on the side of his face than before his Beast Hunters upgrade. Not sure why they couldn't just produce a modified BH head.

So long as it's not a stupid price I'll certainly get this. Pity they couldn't throw in an arm laser cap for the fist or something as well.

The laser cap wouldn't have worked well. Beast Hunters Optimus Prime's fist doesn't fold in or anything, so it would have to go over it, making for an inaccurate hand cannon.

I actually want this though. This plus Dr. Wu's starsaber would be awesome. I dont see any word on price, though im assuming somewere in the $25 range, give or take, that about right? Anyone dealt with these guys before?

Should have read the text then. That's so stupid, they go through great lengths to make the Gatling gun screen accurate and then decide to just put in a FE head (with modifications) so it's no-longer screen accurate? :HEADHURTS:

Could be, since Fakebuster seems to have a deal of some-sort with them, so others might as well. Heck, this company might actually be founded by them.

I'm pretty exited about something that might come out by them, I'mma get my dream fulfilled - well possibly!

It's always good to see an upgrade especially when the figure sucks , i would get this if i liked the prime line but sadly this is why i have bought next to no retail figures for months.

I've been wanting this gun ever since I recently finished watching Season 3 of TF:Prime on Netflix. I'll get this set, but the head goes in the parts bin

A bit more than that, he also had a slightly modified head crest, with the bottom part slightly "hollowed out". Then again, these are the resins, so of course they look weird without colour.

I'm with you on the arm lasers, and probably a spare head for the mouth look.

That looks much better, but it still lacks the t-shaped hole in the crest that makes the animation model stand out from his first body.

This custom BH Optimus was posted on TFsource's Facebook on 9/24 - surprised no one nabbed it.

ZF-002 looks great, but it's $45... and I would probably only get this if I bought Takara's BH Optimus.

Ugh. What do I look like, and ATM??

That's using the Shapeways produced parts and it was done by CustomsbyZ... Who is also part of the Zenith-Forge group. It's been out for quite a long while - July was he posted that pic.

The ZF mass production parts will be coming out soon. Some more tweaking...

GREAT NEWS concerning the ZF:002 Savage Huntsman upgrade kit for Beast Hunters Optimus Prime! The molding process is completed and fine turning of the pieces is in high gear! Look at the provided pictures to see just how complex this gun will be! Should be VERY soon that samples can be shown!! Thanks for all the patience and support!

Well the head looks awesome. That's one way to make a goofy looking figure look serious. The gun also adds to the tough look which is one thing the TF Prime aesthetic always lacked. But I have no use for that figure in my collection.

The gun looks awesome. I recently ordered it on Shapeways. Hopefully I get it soon.

I'm not sure about the head, not because of the design, but because I think this Custom head you actually have to pop a pin to install it, which is never easy if you are not an expert.

Also the original head is actually glued on there. Unscrewing it won't take it off. There is just no easy way to upgrade the head aside of just making a faceplate that snaps onto the original head some how.
