Just checked Kapow on FB and they said igear is having another stab at the ark and is coming .

Personally i'm very interested as i missed ver.1 and it's a bit expensive to find now.

I have v1 and I like it (though it is not in my display due to space considerations)

I would not buy a v2 unless it was really amazing ... or modular. I might buy parts to expand it for when I add it to my display.

A modular set up would be awesome.

To me it looks like it's gonna be the same mold with the high lighted areas in the picture being the up dates retools new parts etc.

I need this! I hope they don't charge over charge for this by looking at what it's going for in the aftermarkets... but then again they probably will.

Igear have posted a teaser image showing the texture/detail of the panels.

Wonder if they're ever actually going to produce the Decepticon control room they showed years ago.

More like are they actually going to produce this at all with all the false starts they have done so far. Seems to be all teasers and disappointments with no actual good reviews.

I bought that City Commander upgrade kit (with the hammers, sword, flag) a few years back but haven't bought anything from them since with all the negative aftermath of a product release.

With iGear, there's usually something wrong. The latest batch of miniwarrors just tanked the goodwill they got from me. From imperfect colors (which were very different from the promo shots, in the case of Cogz) to ever increasing prices. I think the only perfectly solid release they ever had were their MP Seekers.

Plus, they take forever to release their stuff. I'd be surprised if this was actually released sometime this year. But this is a reworked mould and not an all-new one, so maybe it'll be quicker.

Well, despite my bitching I still want some of their stuff. And, from all accounts, set 1 was good if you glued it all together.

I can vouch that, yes, after gluing it together, it was good. Which... is not that ringing of an endorsement. But yeah. None of the consoles or bits could tab or hook in to the floor or walls. And that's not good for something like this.

I never got version 1 so I am excited about ver. 2. I hope they have fixed the problem with the unstable wall panels. I remember folks were supergluing the wall panels from ver. 1 because they kept falling off.

I am so getting this if it comes out. A re-release with upgrades would be a scalpers nightmare. I once got into a debate with an e-bay seller who had one collecting dust but wouldnt budge from his $350-400 asking price. I told him the damn thing had cost $99 retail so he could double his money by selling it to me for $200 plus shipping. He said no. Then I thought I was being generous by bumping it up to $250. His greedy a** still wouldnt budge so I told him good luck with that.
