I hope this is not gonna be another 200+ figure any way this is excellent news if they go through with it and it looks like he has treads so no dodgy boat modes.

Based on prototype images alone, I'm ok with BTS's version for the character. It's the right mix of G1 + Updates to work on my shelf.

My final decision will be what reviewers say. People thought that XOvergen's Powermaster Prime would suck based on past experiences, but it turned out pretty damned awesome. I'm optimistic the same will happen for BTS.

MMC is completely awesome though. I suppose they'll need to get something concrete shown by next year if they want a share of the Overlord market.

... This is literally something I was wishing for, if this is around the size of Hexatron, this will be bought on sight.

While I like the BTS Overlord, I keep asking myself what good is cartoon accurate scale if it's too damn big to fit on my classics shelf ? MMC might be the way to go for me.

I'm interested to see what MMC cooks up; I'm inclined to go with them. I would love to see some prototypes & pricing.

I agree. I'll wait and see what they do with test shots and prototypes. The reviews of the MMC Feral Rex definitely confirmed my gut reaction and choice when it came to that combiner. Hopefully this turns out well.

As long as this guy is around the same height as PE Fort Max this'll be an instant buy for me.

Definitely looks like MMC's design style. I'm wary of BTS' quality and the size is a teeny bit off-putting, so I'm perhaps game for someone else to take a shot at Overlord. Can't imagine anyone I'd rather do that more than MMC.

Need price and size before I commit. But I am optimistic. I like BTS's take, but it is too expensive.

I took this picture of hexatron and blackbird as a size comparison for those of us who might be wanting Carnifex to be about the same size as Sixshot to scale along side PE fort max , blackbird is roughly the size of a dvd case( a tiny bit taller).

I agree that Hexatron is a good size to match.

Damn it - my wallet did not need any more punishment. I'm hoping that this figure is about sixshot's size but have a feeling that MMC will be going way larger.

As a early Christmas present to the Fans. Can MMC Please tease more art pics of Carnifex. The last & only tease pic we got was months ago. Most are curious to see what the alt modes look like. Some are curious to see pics of the Robot standing up armed with all his weapons & gear.

Perhaps someone here can't contact MMC & ask them if they have anymore art pics of Carnifex in other modes & poses.

It's being reported Today from the 2014 August Auto Assembly convention 3rd Party Panel Recap.

MMC Carnifex OverLord is based on LSOTW. About a head taller than Hexatron. Which makes Carnifex a Ten inch tall plus robot from head to toe.

I'm highly interested in buying this MMC toy. As I Have a Connection with the 1988 Masterforce and IDW LSOTW Overlord character. Love the Ten inch Leader scale Robot mode and LSOTW Design.

Hoping a in few days CGI Renders or test shots pics of MMC Carnifex from 2014 Auto Assembly get posted online. Even though pics were not allowed at the con. Hoping pics get released.

Some online fans are guessing that TFCON Chicago has exclusive rights to these 3rd party pics. So at least well get to see them in a few months in October. https://www.facebook.com/events/636428839725753/

Only Hexatron's height ? MMC always does weird scales. They things that should have been smaller (Predacons) they made huge. Then they want to do a city bot like Overlord the size of MP-10. :???:

I think an MP-10 sized Overlord works fantastically with Classics - especially if we're working with IDW Overlord.

Then again, you don't read the comics, X, so I can see why you might be confused/miffed.

He has no plans to buy a 3rd party OverLord that is 16 inch Supreme scale, 12 to 14 inch scale or 10 inch toy scale. He said his preferred scale for this character toy, Is voyager or Ultra scale.

Complaining that this Ten inch MMC Carnifex is too small is just him trying to mock and taunt members here that were interested in buying the,now cancelled, BTS Nova lord toy. Which he hated with a passion due to it's 16 inch robot toy scale.

I'm getting sick and tired of this guys,Clever cruel taunting mocking antics. He is not trying to behave here, He's going out of his way to start trouble in threads.

Just let it go, and ignore his posts, Tsut. (X, can you lay off and talk about the merits of the toys without being provoking?)

I don't know that I'd call Overlord a city-bot anyway. Sure, one mode was a base of sorts, but then so was OP's trailer. It's a large jet and large tank that combine to form a very large bot. The jet could be akin to Jetfire as it looks able to carry bots. That might make Overlord something like twice Jetfire's height, or a small Gestalt, or maybe Omega Supreme size. MMC's size can work, in my opinion, if a touch small. We'll have to see.

I'd love to see some prototypes, especially next to someone else. If his head comes up to Hexatron's wings, that will be a decent size.
