We're in desperate need of a new Galvatron...

Of all the things MMC has teased, I'm surprised Galvatron wasn't one of them. An MMC Galvatron would probably make a great companion piece to Hexatron.

In the meantime, interested to see what UT cooks up here.

I'm sure they'll be teasing one in the next few days the way they've been at it.

The initial teaser looks agreeable, so I'm eager to see more.

Looks interesting and sufficiently complex and detailed. But it's just a boring teaser and blurred out, I'll wait with praise till we get something praiseworthy.

I would take a new Galvatron. It's not at the top of my must have list, but I wouldn't complain. I among the few who don't mind the Hasbro mold since it scales so perfectly with Cyclonus and Scourge. Would I love a cannon more than a tank ? Hell yeah ! But then again, Scourge is a freakin Stealth bomber instead of his G1 form so whatever.

I would love a new Galvatron but I unlike others don't really want it to be that big... Galvatron scales very nicely with Cyclonus and Scourge. smallish voyager would be the perfect size.. but this will probably be the size of Hexatron or something..

This looks cool, but it just makes me angry that Hasbro hasn't created an official voyager Galvatron or Rodimus by now. I would rather have officials of Autobot/Decepticon leaders rather than third party.

And Hasbro's IDW kick would have been a perfect opportunity too. Instead we get Skids and Whirl... two obscure characters. Its like they are conceding to Third Parties for their best characters.

Skids and Whirl is awesome! They're both feature characters in IDW's MTMTE. But I agree I would prefer official versions of Rodimus and Galvatron. Although Galvatron in IDW is not a Decepticon leader.

I think everybody realised this was Galvatron the moment they saw the back "spike" and the "should pad" things (you know the ones next to the head and not the arms).

Finally, someone is stepping up to the plate to make Galvatron.

Regarding scale it is my thought that this figure has to be ultra class.

1) He needs to scale with Classics Ultra Magnus + FansProject city commander armour
2) He needs to be bigger than Classics Megatron and Hegemon, or otherwise the whole 'more powerful' angle is shot to hell
3) Universe Galvatron was ruined because he was too small. Plus he's freaking Galvatron, he demands to be tonk and should be able to chuck Cyclonus and Scourge around as if they were toys (which they are, lol)

Nah. I'm saying voyager. Ultra would be far too big considering he was the same size as Cyclonus and Scourge in the animation.

But if he's voyager size then he'd scale well with Classics Optimus and Classics Rodimus in FansProject's Protector armour.

Come on. Since when does physical size directly correlate to power in the world of science fiction, or indeed science fact?

I agree that Universe Galvatron is far too small, but only in regards to the design and engineering put into him. I reckon a voyager would be able to pull it off.

That is one of my favorite things about Galavatron in the cartoon him being a smaller character yet one of the most powerful .

I'm with the few who like the classics deluxe figure the main reason being he scales with cyclonus and scourge perfect as he is slightly samaller, but i'm fully on board for a voyager scale no bigger i think at the most the size of hegemon personally a tad bit samaller .

Anyway, the main rivalry in the UK comics was ultra magnus v galvatron. And they were near as dammit the same size. That was the whole point, they were matched pound for pound, but galvatron was unhinged and evil to boot. And galvatron must be at least as big, or bigger then megatron. Tell me that universe galvatron doesn't look stupidly small next to classics megatron.
